Yakupov is playing well but nothing no plays really of note to describe. Possibly may have picked up a secondary assist on the PP but it was just a standard wrist shot through a screen.
It's nice that Yakupov is so easy to pick out on the ice because of how dangerous he looks because it's pretty hard to read the numbers on the jerseys during play with the web stream.

Wish there was more to describe about Yakupov but he had a relatively quiet game which is mostly due to Metallurg carrying the play for the most part. Had a good rush and got a wicked shot off earlier but that was probably his best chance.

Thanks for updates, sounds like he is playing for the Russian Oilers

Going from AHL to KHL.. wow, so much ice. I miss the NHL.
Amazingly, I enjoyed watching the AHL games tonite since they had a strong NHL influence with the players in the game. If the NHL doesn't begin soon, I hope that Sportsnet picks up a few Oklahoma games.

Tied up 1-1...
The AHL feed looked like it was from 2003 with grainy picture and horrible sound. The KHL feed is pretty good but with Russian commentators. Man, I miss the NHL too...
