Another guy the Habs invited to camp this year(damn lock-out) is Brendan Ranford with the Kamloops Blazers. Currently, he's 5th in WHL scoring. Good guy to keep an eye on too.
Does anyone remember if he attended any Habs camps this summer?
I don't remember,he was invited though. With the work Riendeau has done with Mayer and the signing of Cedric Desjardins to join Delmas the Bulldogs have a solid trio of goalies.I did notice Mayer still has a tendency to get back to far in the net, last game.I'm sure Lucas Lawson the video guy will be prepping all of those highlights for the coaches to use before practice today. My goalie of choice out of Dell and Rawlings the two college goalies the Habs had at summer camp two years ago is Rawlings he's still at Northeastern,Quailer's college. He's 2-0 in their first two games with 3 goals against, beating Merrimack and Boston College the Huskies are starting the season hot as is Quailer for the Bulldogs his play has been solid.
I think he'll probably end up with 45 or so, and 40 apples. I think he's going to be a very dangerous complimentary player for us. I think a 30-20 guy, eventually.

I'm really trying to be cautiously optimistic with our most recent draft class because it does seem too good to be true but hell if he doesn't look like a 30 goal guy. Maybe not year in year out but he does look skilled enough to produce in the bigs.

I've never got to see this kid actually play, other than highlights but from everything i keep hearing all I can think of is Michael Ryder. Big boy, not overly physical for his size, average skater, but just a wicked sense for finding the back of the net.
We will surely need scoring wingers. Hope he makes it, he seems very promising!
Darren Dietz is lighting it up... For a dman so far.
Most underrated d-man we have in our organization. I'll say something bold as, for me, he's our most surefire NHL'er we have in our organization. Might not be the one who will get there the fastest, but he will be there. I also believe Beaulieu will make it, also believe Tinordi will make it. But Dietz is for me a sure bet all-around. Not saying he has the biggest upside though.

Yeah, he's similar to a Ryder in terms of effect, but very different in terms of method. Bozon tries desperately to be physical. Against the oil kings he tried to throw at least half a dozen hits. He just bounced off his check, though. Who knows, maybe he goes on the gear this summer and starts laying fools out.
Seems to me that he might be our next Rivet. A better skating Rivet.
During the couple games I saw him (streaming), he reminded me a similar style to Kevin Bieksa. Booming shot, similar size, physical play. Ideal second pair d-man able to play the point on the PP.
