THN Getting to Know: Dustin Tokarski
http://blog.syracuse.com/crunch/2012..._flyout_sports
Quote:
"When we made it 5-2 coming into the room, it was like, believe it or not, everyone thought we were going to win the game,'' Cooper said. "It's what this group does. If we didn't pull this out, it would be like, wow, we didn't pull this out. There's never a number where we don't think we can come back.''
For his own part, Cooper said he was trying to take the comeback step-by-step.
"I'm not looking big picture,'' he said of his thoughts when Syracuse trailed 5-0. "Until the final buzzer goes, you still think you can win the game. At 5-0, you are not focusing on the final result as much as why are we down 5-0 and what can we do to change that?''
Cooper cited the goalie fight between Syracuse's Riku Helenius and Binghamton's Robin Lehner at the 9:30 mark of the second as the game's turning point.
Quote:
"That is a rarely seen event, and we hadn't scored on Lehner, also,'' Cooper said. "I thought it was a gutsy thing to do. I was really proud of what he [Riku] did. I know it went miles with our team.''
Quote:
Cooper said Dustin Tokarski will start tonight's game at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Also, defenseman Radko Gudas is out with an ailment and won't be available again until next weekend.

Received confirmation from BriseBois that Brown is hurt. Injury is secret. Extent TBD

Aulie's goal was similar to the second one scored by Conacher.
Anyway, Blujus eventually hit the scoresheet with an assist.

yep. I wonder if this weekend has made Tic the starter, or if this isn't not enough games yet for Cooper to make a decision.
Keith Aulie also awarded 1st star of the game and Connolly is now at a ppg.
