The GDT on the Stars board is pretty apoplectic about the line-up they've got tonight. And with good reason, it would seem.

Not saying he won't. I just hear how good he is all the time and wanted to see him and Pickard in a show down.
He has been terrible in this season. I haven't seen him play but he's the 6th worst (46th best) goalie in the league according to the stats. It's early, so the stats don't mean ****, but there's a reason why he's not playing tonight.
They really limit the chances the other teams get too. All the forwards backcheck hard and contribute deffensively to clear up rebounds.
On a random not, it's fun seeing Toby Petersen. He was one of my favorite players at CC. I remember he had a good run with the Penguins and the Dallas Stars for awhile.
The fact that he's still playing professionally is incredible. He's a no quit guy. I remember when he was at CC he literally busted both knees. He had a almost entire knee replacement on both sides. He's a good guy too.
Sacco isn't that bad. I really hate when people forget the state this team is in. It was the 3rd year of the rebuild.
Yeah Sacco isn't "that bad", but I still am not sure if he's the "answer" going forward. I'm not sold on him, and I don't think he's shown anything to make us believe that he can improve going forward. In his 1st year as HC, he rode a hot Craig Anderson to the PO's.
Quinn has a proven track record at BU and with Lake Erie, and this Chynoweth guy has been coaching in the minors for a while as well, so the experience is there.
I still don't think it's long before we're seeing the headline "Sacco fired, Quinn named new Avalanche Head Coach"
Pock and Barrie seem to have good chemistry. I'd be interested to see if they get a promotion whenever the NHL season starts. They'd be a good third pairing to have perhaps?
I thought I rememberd Pock only wanting to play in the NHL....curious to see if his play with Barrie keeps him around the organization. They are good together.
i still don't know how much better quinn or whoever will be than sacco, clearly sacco hasn't impressed alot of fans, but it's deja vu when we were sick of granato and sacco was our godsend short after that.
