Overall it was a very even game, perhaps a slight edge to Springfield. Svedberg was the difference-maker.

I know it's early but do these last 2 games put Svedberg in #1 spot?

I was also at the game and I thought the Defense and Springfield missing open nets really helped Svedburg.

He had bad re-bond control and the D picked the puck out of the crease a few times. He would make the 2nd and at times the 3'rd great saves.

I do agree he is better than Hutch. I also think he will get better reminds me of Hannu. I worry who Providence has to help him (with Hannu they had Scott Gordon.) along the way.

did not see game but went to Mancherter game and will weigh in here since I can. Sauve looked very good Friday night- strong board play and did not slow down one bit going after pucks- has an NHL aura about him the way he skates, shoots- little leery on his injuries and his 'sandpaper' part of his game but there is a lot there

just love watching Warsofsky and Krug skate with the puck. I think both can and should make it. Maybe because they are undersized but both are quick and have zero fear from what I've seen- Warsofsky looked even quicker the first game; I think Krug is going to be a very good player at the NHL

I know he's probably sentenced to a life in the AHL but Jamie Tardif is just a player- has skills, does everything well seems like a damn good guy- I sure hope he's all that and more and years from now is making a big pay check coaching or doing something in hockey if he so chooses.

Caron was great in the Manchester game- but I actually saw him play a better game, the first game Spooner and Knight played two years ago. Caron had 2 goals that game and an assist and was first star. He looked like Glen Murray at the top of his game. However, next game he was natta. So, if he can maintain his consistency he has a future. He is a big boy, not sure how mean he his though- did not see much contact, but then again he was in offensive mode. I'm going Friday night so will get another look before he reports to Boston in a week or so.

Colby Cohen is a garbage defenseman. I said that from day one when they acquired him. He's a PP specialist, that's it. Other than that, he's a liability on the ice.

I'm just telling it like it is. That was a great moment in his college career, but it doesn't mean squat.
