someone needs to get word to mark stepniski to get him or someone with the stars to comment on what's going on. this is beyond mysterious and bordering incredulous. a healthy glennie getting scratched makes no sense for the long term viability of the player at the club and even less sense if they want to trade him.
Haha! I remember when just about all of you scoffed when I said he was a bust.
No heart = trash player.
go back and look at the threads when he was drafted. nobody was happy. don't break your arm patting yourself on the back that you were right. the only difference is most here hope he gets it together instead of calling him trash.
Is heart the problem? Maybe he's just not good enough. I feel bad for the kid. He's been hurt, is undersized, and doesn't have it.
Drafting kids his age is damn tough. It sucks that he's a bust because it means the Stars didn't get anything for that craptacular season. They saw the unused cap space and their primary pick go to waste.

No one from the main roster goes to Gary's camp as far as I am aware. Roberts program is the best around bar none.

Calm down bud, just a joke Serious internet here now.
Outside of this past season, our draft threads in recent years have always been the same; elation over the list of potential superstars that have fallen into our lap, followed by pure uninhibited rage over who we end up taking.

Who exactly did we pass over in 2011? I remember being pretty happy with Oleksiak.

The only guy i wanted more than Oleksiak at that point was Klefbom but the difference was insignificant. I wanted Teravainan last year over Faksa way more than I wanted Klefbom over Oleksiak.

I'm very happy we didn't take TT over Faksa. I think Faksa's gonna be our best pick since Benn.
Campbell instead of Fowler, Gormley, Schwartz or Forbot
Those are the two draft selections I hated at the time and in fact still hate. The rest ehh...not a huge believer in Faska yet and I think Olesiak will be good but man those two picks got Berhardt fired and this upcoming draft if we get a chance at McKinnon, Barkov, or Monahan and pass should get Joe fired.
While we're taking free shots at speculation, I'm not sure - right now - that Teravainen will be an impact NHLer at all...Faksa isn't nearly as flashy, but for a team that is devoted to fixing its center depth, Faksa is a great foundation to allow you to take a homerun shot at another time...Eakin doesn't hurt for foundation building either as he projects to be a third liner...going into the draft, I had serious reservations about Teravainen...
My go-to source with the Stars is no longer available, so I'll have to pry through some different avenues to try to get the scoop on Glennie if I can...no promises...
Idk about that. I wouldn't think so. What I mean is it's the answer that keeps you from knowing the real truth. He won't tell us exactly why he's been scratched so instead he dances around the question.
I agree with Metal and Lobo. He's definitely in the doghouse.
