Nice to see him comeback strong after that possibly concussion. He is playing on the 3rd line as well?

Just a little tidbit on Grigorenko, outside of a brutal three game stretch where he went 13/49 (26.5%) from the dot, he's been been over 60% from the dot over the other 8 games.

It was just a mild concussion then? Or did they stick with "mild upper body injury"?

Awesome, thanks for the update. He and Navin are the two I've been keeping a keen eye to this year, very intriguing to see if either of them can eventually make the big club as 7th rounders

He started the game in 3rd line with Aki Uusikartano and Nico Aaltonen, but somewhere during the 2nd period he was promoted back to the 1st line with Mika Niemi and Michael Ryan, which improved the 1st lines play immensely, resulting in 3 goals by them, one of them empty netter

EDIT: the game ended 6-1

I haven't seen any confirmation from the team that it was a concussion, so who knows what it was. It was mentioned on the radio during Tuesdays game that Armia was concussed, and after that, nothing except team saying he's out with a "mild upper-body injury"

Might as well put it here: I've watched the past few Chicago Wolves games and Kassian has looked good.
Mobility looks way better, he's hustling more consistently, is willing to drop the gloves (Matthew Coller would be thrilled), and has stood out positively in all three of the games (two against Abbotsford and one against Peoria, which I watched to get a look at Jaden Schwartz).
They said he dropped 15 pounds and did some MMA training during the summer.
Don't know why some around here turned on him so quickly but it's good to see him starting well.

Also look out for another Armia video soon; it'll be his latest game against Ilves, in which he had 1+1.

Kassian was fantastic tonight. Hitting, fighting, scoring; it was all there.

Grigs has a point in all 12 games this year and has 24 points through the first 12, good for a 2 PPG. Not to shabby

Only because he's 42 years older than everyone else.

And with Kucherov's return confirmed for Thursday, you can probably bump up his PPG a bit.

So....... if Roy stays true to what he said, Grigorenko will be a healthy scratch Thursday.

I have a hard time to believe that.

I don't remember anyone saying he won't eventually turn into a descent or maybe even real good NHLer.

Today, now in his development, he's a pretty good AHLer most nights. Nothing more. But, like Hodgson, he'll probably develop into a good NHLer.

I do too, but it's a tough situation.
Hopefully Kucherov comes back and produces so they can at least move Sörensen and not feel any pain while they wait for the real pieces at the trade window.

Teams can only have two Europeans at a time but the Remparts have three because of a new rule that allowed them to select Kucherov because Grigorenko was a first round pick in the NHL.
With no NHL, they are technically allowed to have three on their roster but cannot play all three at once.

It has been confirmed Kucherov will be playing Thursday.

So Grigorenko would be the odd man out.

Like I said, I have a hard time to believe it.

Only photo I have of Mark Adams against Boston University last weekend. I really didn't see a whole lot of him.

Because he wasn't hitting or fighting, and hadn't been for two years (since getting drafted by Peterborough). Glad to see he's finally getting some of that edge back, because he had definately lost it in Peterborough/Rochester/Buffalo.

Couple that with Foligno's emergence.

You've been around here long enough to know that when you pose a Player 1 v. Player 2 dichotomy, people trash the player they don't prefer. I think most of the pro-Hodgson crowd recognized what Zack brought to the table, but understood that, at the time of the trade, there was such a dire need for a center with Hodgson's ability.

It's good to see both doing well: Kassian with three goals in five games, and Hodgson leading the AHL in assists.
