This MLB playoffs had so much potential for Cinderella stories, but no, all the lame teams won in the first round.

So disappointing.

Are any of the cell phone service providers considerably better in the edmonton area than the others? Or are they all pretty much the same.

I'm currently on rogers going month to month, my contract expired in the early parts of the summer. The phone I've been waiting for is about to be released and it's 100 more on rogers. I'd have absolutely no reservations about moving providers.

Also, has anyone bought their phone outright, instead of being tied to a multi-year contract? Would you recommend it?

The Telus network is quite good, but their customer service is pathetic. Best bet is Bell. As for Rogers? Run away as fast as you can.

Don't buy outright. Contracts these days are so easy to work with. I had more than two years left on my last contract, and I still managed to upgrade my phone at the three year discount last month.

Trying to get into an electrician's apprenticeship, but having a hell of a time trying to find a company willing to take on a beginner. Is there anyone here in the electrical trade that could give me a tip on how to break in?

LOL, all the talk about Mucho Barito and it being sooo expensive is hilarious. I'm assuming most of you guys have to be students. Then the comment about Mucho being much much much better than Taco Del Mar, lol, it's the same **** different rain coat.

Im eating the wimpy right now. Its pretty hot.

They told me nobody has finished the "Hotter than Hell" version yet.

They are made with "Ghost Pepper" sauce made from the infamous "Naga Bhut Jolokia" pepper or "Ghost" pepper.

Here is a guy trying to eat one of the peppers raw.

Tried the wimpy version 2 weeks ago, although they were out of the ghost pepper infused bacon. It was pretty hot, but I found it to be less hot the more I ate of it.

Love this battle too. The good ol' cell service provider fan boy clubs. The best provider is who is going to give you the most for the cheapest amount. For the most part they all have similar service coverage and all of them are hit and miss when it comes to customer service.

Only positive I know of one provider over the other is that if you travel to Saskatchewan a lot or cross country by vehicle the only cell phone service available in Saskatchewan is Sasktel or Telus.

I thought about becoming an electrician a few years back, and talked to a buddy who was a journeyman. He recommended a company called Environmental Dynamics. Although the big construction companies like Ledcor and Kiewit probably have electrical divisions.

Yeah, the hotter than hell.

I actually had another one yesterday and it was definitely hotter than the last two I had. I don't know if there was more ghost pepper sauce or the inconsistency of the hot salsa. I'm guessing they make their salsas in house because some days it's pretty hot, others not so much.

Anyone watch episode 6 of the ultimate fighter? This season seems a lot better than the last one. Really found the brazilian one to be quite a bore. This one seems much more filled with drama and the fights have had pretty good stories to them.

Was a little bit not too surprised by the decision on tonight's fight, but if I were a judge I would've called it even and let both guys go to round 3. Your thoughts?

Haircuts in Edmonton

Does anyone know of a good place to get a haircut for men in Edmonton? No frills, no fancy styles or anything, I just want a simple inexpensive haircut.

There's a good little barber shop right beside Swiss Donair on 18 ST and 144th Ave.

Something like $10 for a basic cut.

I don't think it counts if you die on impact or start dead before you jump.

Ha, the impact just disperses it over several hundred feet, I see it now.
