I know this is an old post, but I'd say that the offense has more depth this time and guys like Barkov have taken huge steps forward after the last WJC. Sure, Granlund's a big loss, but better depth will compensate for that to some extent. In defense, Hakanpää's the biggest loss, but it's still pretty solid with guys like Määttä and Ristolainen, for example. IMO, the biggest loss from the last WJC for Finland is actually Aittokallio, as none of the goalies who are expected to make the WJC team have been performing all that well lately.
