a guy that has really impressed me is Mikael Vikstrand playing in Allsvenskan and is leading all d-men in scoring as a 18 year old drafted last year by the senators in the 7th round.

Has he been dominant? Or is it more luck/a result of playing skilled players? (I believe Kopitar is there?)
Well, the goal totals are a bit lucky, one shootout winner which counts for some unknown reason, an even without that he shoots at 20+%.
He's been a good puck-mover and decent defensively, but I don't think it's time to get too excited just yet. He's developing well, though, and the increase in confidence and ice-time can do wonders for that development, going into the WJC and also earn him an SEL deal to allow him to take that next step next year.
Hampus Lindholm didn't get on the sheet, but he came close on several occasions. He saw his biggest ice time of the season, and was easily our best defenseman on the night; in spite of a big performance by Vatanen.
Why not? You can't leave a two word post criticizing a kid with the 2nd most goals in the SEL in his rookie season without some kind of explanation.
Don't worry, he's been looking great on a struggling team. Outside of Lindholm and Klefbom I think he's been the most impressive junior player in the league, not to mention he had to do it with a new team and new rink size.
But they don't count for goalies, right? I mean, for SO's and GAA and SV%?
Stupid.
Yes it does. The goal counts, the goal allowed counts and it also counts towards the league's goals per game statistics. A 2-1 SO win is a three goal game.

Yeah, but in a 0-0 game we will still have two goalies with a clean sheet regardless of of who concedes the game winning (or game losing) goal in the shootout. The game ends 1-0 but the goalie on the losing team still stands with 100% saves. Or am I wrong?

I really don't know about the shutout, but I hope so.
The sv% however is affected. Take the said FBK-AIK game which ended 1-2 SO. Salak ended up with 28/30, 2GA, 93,33%, 1,85 GAA for the game.

Hmm. Ok. I thought that was changed last season. There was, and rightfully so, a big debate about it. I think it is ridiculous to count a goal towards the goalie in a shootout. Both goalies can concede several goals but the unfortunate one that concedes the game winner gets his stats messed up.
The same can of course be said about a player that scores a couple goals during a shootout but does not get the game winner. Another player scores once, gets the game winner, and is rewarded with a goal in his personal stats.
Shootout should not count towards personal stats, only rewarding the winning team an extra point. That is my view on it.
But i guess we (I) went a little bit of topic here..
