I can't pretend to know that's good news but it sounds like good news!

Same league as Forsberg, I think. Hopefully he gets top 6 mins.

I wonder what 'loan' means in terms of duration and terms.

It's a day-to-day-loan according to Frölunda. As I said a few weeks ago, SEL-2 clubs have been showing interest for a while and he was always open to the idea as long he didn't got much icetime in SEL.

Good stuff! Hopefully Frolunda only recalls him if he's going to play decent minutes.

this Swedish article states that its indefinite but could be called up at anytime. So i guess an example is if they have a couple injuries he goes back to Frolunda...

it would be like our AHL. Good to hear as I'd rather have him playing then sitting.

Its the relegation league for SEL, so its a bit closer to the main league than the AHL is to the NHL because the top teams were in the top league the season before. Also players are loaned to independant clubs in another league rather than them being in dependant relationships to a team in the league above them. But in general the analogy holds.

No, that's the 3rd league. It goes SEL, Allsvenskan then Div 1.

Very very talented kid who has not looked very confident on the senior team so far, his production could explode any time.

Collberg starts on the first line today. Their "second line" is probably the best line in the league but the first line has been struggling a bit.

No, Forsberg plays in the Allsvenkian or something, which is a stronger league.

I dont know much about the different leagues, but why was Collberg playing with Frolunda in the Elitserien league, when top prospects like Forsberg and even Landeskog are in Allsvenskan? Also players like Hagelin and Read- Is there really that much of a gap between both leagues? Just by looking at the rosters... if he gets more ice-time with Allsvenskan, I guess it would be best he stay there.

Because the teams that own their rights don't have an SEL club. Djurgarden was relegated last year(I think) and Leksands has been down there since...2006?

The difference between the bottom teams in SEL and the top teams in Allsvenskan is not that big. As a whole the difference is much much bigger though.

The players you mentioned are just playing for their hometown teams. Forsberg is still young enough to get alot out of playing in Allsvenskan. Since SEL teams have a gentlemens agreement (well, sort of) to not add lockout players to their rosters, the others did not really have any other choice if they wanted to play in Sweden. Not that that would have made much of a difference since they's probably still want to help out their home team.

If that makes any sense.
