Disgusting. Every time there's a list of some sort, it's never any good. Seriously, what are these people thinking? Unless the list has specific criteria that we're not aware of or greater specification, then everyone who made this list is really really high on something far more powerful than anything I've ever had.

Aside from the Rangers players that are missing some of those players are just ridiculous. Varly? a good 1/2 season with the Avs, Hedman? Solid defenseman yes but over McD? Tavares is lower than Couture? I don't think so.

Seriously? Myers is on the list and McD isn't? Del Zotto and Myers should be in the same boat and how Myers gets to 24 and DZ isn't on the list is beyond me.

Also, Gabriel Landeskog, future HOF not on list. No. Simmonds over Landeskog?

I am 80% sure this list is either forged or a joke.

No kidding. They try and be all fancy with the "intangibles" but you can't just ignore the tangibles. That makes you dumb, not insightful.

As a Landeskog fan, if you want to talk about intangibles, there's not a single player under 25 that plays with his type of fire and passion. He plays the same game as Captain Cally with more size, speed and skill. The lack of Landeskog on this list just doesn't work.

As usual, worthless showbiz ESPN trying to make believe they know something. Charlie Brown & Lucy with the football. It's your fault for posting it.

Disgraceful. At least pretend like you know a thing or two about hockey before you try ranking some of the top players in the game.

Look we're Rangers fans we want all our guys on the list obviously, but one guy you can't deny here is McDonagh. He really deserves it and he's better than alot of that.

Im thinking ESPN just does those lists for controversy, kind of like having Skip Bayless.

That list is atrocious.

until Gagner had that flukey 8-point night, was he not kinda regarded as an underachiever? By that i mostly mean he was not developing to potential.

Victor Hedman has a lot more to prove before he's put on any congratulatory list.

Gagner is just a stupid joke.

And there are 10 or so guys not on that list that I'd rather have than Berglund. Backstrom? Giroux? Henrique? Stepan? Pacioretty? Landeskog? RNH? ROR? Duchesne? Voracek?

Someday E. Kane might be better. Right now Staal is light years ahead of him.

McDonagh should be on this list.

Stepan > Gagner.

Terrible list. Sam Gagner?

Craig Custance asked some NHL coaches and execs their opinions on the list

McDonagh absolutely, a no brainer. Del Zotto?

Unfortunately, the league isn't sleeping on the Rangers at all. This is ESPN, they've been in a hockey coma for a decade. The Rangers actually get a lot of respect around the league.
