Boyle is part of the solution, not the problem. He is easily one of the more highly coveted 3rd line C's in the game. Without him, you have Richards and Stepan taking defensive zone draws, lol.

The biggest need for the team is a Top 4 RH PMD.

along with Eric Fehr, i wouldnt mind Gilbert Brule... both players are young two way hockey players. only 25 and 26 years old and hadnt lived up to expectations. also wouldnt be too expensive.

I believe Brule signed in Europe.

EDIT: Yes he did:

Gilbert Brule‘s run in the NHL is taking a sabbatical.

Brule has reportedly signed a one-year deal with the ZSC Lions of the Swiss league according to the team’s website (link in German). He had five goals and nine assists in 33 games last season with the Coyotes.

Does he have an NHL clause in his deal?

I don't think he was one of the players who went over there because of the lockout, so I don't think so.

Brule has been released from his Zürich contract. Read here

Not that he is really hot goods - 0 goals & 6 assists in 14 games is what he put up in Switzerland before being canned by Marc Crawford. #6 overall pick looking like a bust...
