Ellis one of the best so far. Good positioning, poised, good first pass.
The worst D so far: Tinordi....looks lost

They gave minuses to 3 D... Corbin, Pateryn and Tinordi. Mistake or they were all on the ice?

It really did. Excellent movement between Beaulieu, Palushaj and Holland. Great control and good decision making.

1-0 for Rochester at the end of the first.

I though Morgan Ellis looked really good out there. He showed offence, broke up some plays nicely, and looked very calm and poised.

Quailer was Hamilton's best forward this period. He slips away to scoring areas so easily, he has to capitalize on those chances he gets from that. He was banging away in front of the net too. Noticeably more physical than from what I've seen previously too.

Bournival also looked good. He was great on the PK. He showed some great speed and strength too.

Palushaj said he gained around 15 lbs of muscle in summer training and he was the best dogs forward in the first period. Ellis so good in D as if he missed no match since memorial cup. Holland doing a good job on PP with good playmaking.

Good to hear Ellis is as solid as ever. He'll surprise the people who haven't been paying attention, including most hockey "experts".
