If you requested a check, then you'd run into the problem you did... but that's standard procedure for any online betting service or poker room.

I never requested anything. It's just what the withdrawal page said. I'll try to see if I can get a screen shot when I get home, can't get on it at work.

Well a ton of companies add on a few weeks to timetables like that. Hell, my company says a refund will take 6-8 weeks, but it's usually done in a day or two after we get the product back.

And why can't Illini basketball start already?

Can't be any worse than locked out hockey or might as well be locked out Illini football.

Thats a shame

I am thankful for the memories Ozzie provided Sox fans with on and off field

Hope he enjoys retirement cause I dont see him getting a shot at managing anytime soon ,, I could see him getting into talk radio

Florida shouldn't be signing a manager beyond 1 year.

Dave Haugh couldn't have said it any better (via the greatest thing in sports, Twitter!)

Ultimately Marlins fired Ozzie for same reason Sox parted ways: mediocre results couldn't justify unprofessional nonsense. Only winning can.

Brad Ausmus, hopefully, doesn't head to Florida. I don't want to see him fail.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them go after Dave Martinez. Thought he'd find a gig last offseason and didn't.

Barry Zito to start game 1 of the World Series.

Never though I'd hear that. Surprised my computer didn't explode typing that.

ESPN 30/30 of Ben Wilson was good but honestly they overate the impact his death had

Scoop Jackson claiming Ben Wilson's name is as engraved in Chicago culture as Jesse Jackson , Roger Ebert and Michael Jordan is a major stretch

Call me ignorant, but I've never even heard of that guy or his story before the commercials started showing up.

Amazing film. Almost had a tears in my eyes.

Gangs are terrible, and the people in them are terrible people. Love how they threw D-Rose and Parker in there at the end to give us a modern comparison. The reason it is sad is that everyone still asks themselves how good he could have become.

Wilson wasn't blameless in the entire situation

Depends if you believe the gang member was using self defense.

Glad I'm not the only one... I kind of felt like an ass at first, but then realized it's basketball and I don't give a damn about basketball.

If any of you know who Jabari Parker is, him being killed by a gang member before he begins his senior season would be the equivalent to what happened to Ben Wilson. That would be absolutely devastating, tragic, awful, and hard to comprehend, as what happened to Wilson was.
