Hope so. Can't see how much benefit he's getting from playing 0 shifts for Frolunda.

Playing in the Allsvenskan is still high quality hockey,Collberg says "I want to play as much hockey as possible and right now it fits best here in Orebro."Good for Sebastian and the Habs

Did a little write up on our CHL prospects. Due to the lockout I have caught several CHL games already. Was most impressed with Hudon, Bozon and Dietz in the games i saw. Really impressed with Bozon's team, would be sweet if they could make the Memorial Cup to join Dietz/Thrower.

Too bad for Nystrom since this is his last chance for the WJC's but wasn't expecting him to make what should be a very good Team Sweden. Can't wait to see Collberg again though.

I heard he's still injured but didn't hear if he was expected to be ready when the season opens this weekend (Ivy Shootout tournament vs Yale)

Collberg's loan comes the day he's picked for the U/20 4 Nations tournament,he will be in game shape for that and the WJC's following.Sebastian's play will mesh good with Galchenyuk's game and if the Habs can draft Carrier they will have a world class line in those three.

Watching the livestream of Pribyl's team cause I wanted to get a chance to see how he's progressed especially with his production so far...

He was being used on the PK when I first tuned in, which surprised me. He seemed to be doing his job, but his lack of foot speed is really, really evident. He reminds me a lot of Jozef Stumpel... which isn't really a good thing.

Anyway what struck me the most was holy **** Petr Nedved is playing for the other team and being easily the best player on the ice. Weird world. Guy's 40.

Maybe Vail does have a decent chance to be at the WJC. The USA Hockey writer thinks so:

http://unitedstatesofhockey.com/2012...or-u-s-roster/

Quote:
In The Mix (50-74% Chance)

...

Brady Vail — C — Windsor Spitfires — A surprise omission from the Junior Evaluation Camp, Vail has been on fire to start the OHL season. He has 10 assists and 16 points through 13 games. While his offensive production is impressive, it’s his defensive abilities that make him a candidate to earn a spot on this team. The production is an added bonus. Vail looks like he could be an ideal candidate as a shutdown center, having gone head-to-head with some of the OHL’s best over the last two years. I’d expect Vail to earn an invite to the pre-tournament camp either way. A lack of familiarity with him internationally makes me believe he’s got a 50 percent shot to knock off a guy like Steven Fogarty and earn a spot.

So what's it looking like overall for our prospects playing in the WJC? Collberg for Sweden, Galchenyuk and maybe Vail for USA, Hudon for Canada. Anyone else?

Would be great. He does have the style to play the Worlds. But I'll have to think he still have to rack the points.

Yeah, that is the picture. Maybe Thrower has a 0.1% chance if he turns his season dramatically around AND the lockout ends AND a significant number of the Hamilton/Murray/Rielly/Dumba/Reinhart/Murphy group make the NHL once it ends.

Bozon should be there for Switzerland, or does he play for France?

Tim Bozon's dad was playing for St Louis at the time, so he was born there.

I don't think it affects the country that he represents though, as he has represented France in the past.

Bozon split his life between France and Switzerland I believe, obviously playing hockey in Switzerland.

Well, I don't doubt he has swiss citizenship, it's just that swiss citizenship is extremely hard to get.

Not if you have any blood connection, Michele Bachmann almost got Swiss citizenship FFS. They just want to keep everyone else out.

He's already played for France at the Div-1 U18 WJC (not sure if that's IIHF sanctioned?) and I imagine he'll continue to do so. Plus according to this...

Bozon has already declared that he wishes to play international hockey for the French national team.

Wow. After watching the Lhjmq game between the Volts and the Remparts, i must say i was very impressed with Archambault. What a change since the last season !

The two times i got to see him play was against two good teams, Armada and Remparts, and in each of the games, in my opinion, he clearly showed he was a player with a very unique set of skills.

We all knew he was talented, if only by the fact that he was picked first overall in the Lhjmq draft. However, last season, i thought he was lacking strength, stamina and overall hockey intelligence. He wasn't Bad, but not the player i thought/hoped he was going to be. And, to be honest, i didn't think he had it in him to become more.

But from the few games i had the chance to watch this season, i think he's finally blossoming. Most of his bad habits are gone. I thought he was one of the most combative player on the ice, always trying hard to get back the puck from the other team. The only (BIG) flaw in is game is that damn puck-hugging habit he has. If he corrects this rare flaw in his game (and many others that will become more obvious the more he plays in superior leagues) , i think we're in for yet another good prospect in our bank.

Honestly, I've rarely seen a player that creative in his movement at this level. In fact, bare the fact that he loses some pucks because he doesn't always pass, i think he's one of the most fun (not the best : Fun) players to watch in the Q !

Did anyone else got the chance to watch him play ? What do guys think of him so far ?
