It appears that the Checkers - the team the Ads are playing tonight has a goalie named Dan Ellis playing tonight. I checked their website and they show a picture of him from last season. http://gocheckers.com/team/roster/in...?player_id=129 I guess we now know where he ended up.
Schultz had an assist and a -2 rating in his debut with Oklahoma. Eberle and RNH didn't register a point, so I imagine he'll start putting up more when those guys come online.

+/- doesn't mean anything if it makes a non Ducks OFD look bad!
I still think Gardiner could end up better than Schultz. :/ I always saw him as more of a raw talent, with more room for growth, while Schultz was a bit more polished.
Gardiner had an edge over Schultz in his physical development, so I'd still have to give the edge to Schultz. I don't think there was ever an issue with Gardiner not being good enough.
What I hate most about Schultz is that everyone thinks that Schultz is only considered to be a great prospect because of over enthusiastic fans in Edmonton.
Remember when Scott Valentine walked away from us and he became a top 20 prospect?

Is he really a top 20 prospect? I thought he was garbage now. Maybe top 20 within the Preds organization?
If he can stay healthy and fire the slapshots to goalie's direction...then why not.
That's what we were hoping for him to do . I seriously doubt that he will succeed in FEL because the rinks are somewhat bigger and his mobility wasn't that great and FEL isn't that much less physical than NHL. He probably ends up shooting the puck at Tappara player's teeth.
What kills me about D-Bag Schultz is the way Mackenzie has his nose so far up his ass. Every time that D-bag makes a play, Mackenzie tweets it or re-tweets something from the an oil fan. Prior to Schultz lying to the Ducks, you never heard a word from Mackenzie about "Mr. Integrity."

The truth. The only time I saw Schultz hyped by anyone on TSN was after the ASG draft, and Kouleas and Button were picking their Sochi sleepers. Button interestingly picked Schultz.
But to your point about MacKenzie, the way he stood up for Schultz on Twitter around July 1st was repulsive. Sure, some of the stuff did cross the line, but Bobby Mac was making him out to be a saint.
The former Duck Brett Festerling, with his twin Garrett and me in Hamburg after the game of the German Elite League (DEL) between Hamburg Freezers and Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers of Nuremberg. Garrett plays for Hamburg and Brett for Nuremberg.
Still unsure how to embed a Youtube video, but it seems like someone has recently added Game 1 of the 2003 series with the Wings in five parts for those who are missing (Mighty) Ducks hockey.
Easy to forget for some younger fans such as myself how vital Carney was that series looking back, and inversely, how forgettable PK was. Great series all-around, though.

Visnovsky is off a good start in the KHL (at least production-wise). Nine points (4+5) in 13 games. The only defenseman in the league with a better PPG-ratio is Kevin Dallman. It surprises me Dallman could never get a training camp invite in the NHL the last few years, the way he's been racking up points in the KHL ever since going there. Guessing he's not interested in a 2-way contract.
