What a effin joke.

NHL come back..I want to see real hockey.
This. Also the stupid way of punishing players: on the ice you get stupid ejections for no good reason (see the "hit's that caused the ejections to Ässät on Friday, Varakas hit in 2011 finals etc), but you don't get big suspensions for very dirty hit's, Azevedo and Peltonen hits are a case in point.

Couldn't agree more.

Edit.
- Dozens of players either acting injured or then actually getting injured from all this crap with sticks and other dirty stuff.
- Nobody is brave enough to send a message that all of that isn't cool.
- Refs don't know how to react to all of this crap and they make idiotic calls constantly.

TPS head coach Pekka Virta and the rest of the coaching team was fired.

Juha Pajuoja will be the new head coach. Miika Elomo ja Jani Kiviharju will be assisting him.

I don't think Pekka Virta is a bad coach...he just couldn't get that TPS team to play his game and now he is out of job... bootings happens to every coach in their career...even the championship coaches.

Though TPS' new addition Pajuoja was a weird choice TPS certainly looks like a disaster team of 12/13 season.

If your racing car is bad and doesn't have enough horse powers...even a good driver can't make it win.

Choosing Pajuoja IMO indicates that TPS has already chosen the new coach for next season, thus Summanen, Heikkilä etc weren't interested in a short term project like this. Whatever the truth is, I have full confidence in Pajuoja. I agree with the bolded part. Something just didn't match, and a change was needed. Hopefully, this will work. With this roster TPS shouldn't be last.

Agreed with the last post. Pajuoja isn't a total screw-up (Ilves 10/11) and there is some potential with the roster.

And now a thing I'm really about: Tommi Taimi will be playing tomorrow against Kärpät.

Hoping that Parkkonen and Malkamäki will be the defencemen getting turns as the sixth guy when nobody is injured or on a huuuuge slump.

Finally somebody says this in public:

http://www.iltalehti.fi/smliiga/2012...16672_sm.shtml

"Fights keep the game clean(er)" - Markus Kankaanperä, Tappara

.................................................. ..........

At the moment there is 0 fights in SM-Liiga and the reason is the Helsinki preseason derby and the media BS afterwards.

On the other hand there is more dirty plays (+suspensions and injuries) compared to last season and you can basically use your hockey stick as an axe. Refs are effin blind.

I'm so god damn mad about this... I'm really thinking of dumping watching this sh**tty league for good.

I, for one, sent feedback for the league from the official site, about not having fights. Who they think they are serving, the hockey fans who pay for paychannels, or the flowerhelmet-aunts? I recommend sending feedback for a start, and tell about how intrested you are following if the league starts changing the games classic rules and the code of the classic sport because of flowerhat-aunts.

The message from league to the people who cant get over the fighting should be: Kiviä taskuun!

Cory Emmerton (SaiPa) injured in his first game. Broken finger. Hmmm I wonder how that happend. Plus Jokerit have had at least 3 guys out this season due to axing.

Welcome to the jungle.

I think he blocked a shot with his finger. Very bad luck.

History was just made.

Markus Kankaanperä took a 2min penalty and now is the all-time leader in penalty minutes in SM-liiga with 1403.

While you can paint me as one of those who do think the jersey looks kinda cool, I also have to agree that I prefer to have these on the inner side of the beef and buns, not on them.

They are just for one game celebrating Jokerit 45 year anniversary.

Looks nice even though Finnish photographers often use too much light... the shirts will not be as bright in real life.

4 point night for Ramstedt (1+3) and Rinkinen (2+2)

Ramstedt doesn't stop producing - 23 points in 16 games

but Rinkinen has slowed down a bit - 17 points in 16 games
