[VIDEO] Canucks Flashback Thread

Only good thing to come out of the lockout is old Canucks highlights, specifically Bure.

Also, Canucks vs. Flames from 1992.

11 to nothing! Man, they didn't just BEAT the flames, they angrily penetrated them!

(Penetrated their defence that is.)

Ah man, they cut the highlights short just before Gerald Diduck head-butted Paul Kruse! (It landed him a match penalty but, well, the result of the game wasn't really in doubt).

I was watching that one as a teen on BCTV... awesome game. And fight-filled. Very, very fight-filled.

Yeah, that is one specific game I remember watching, too. The Calgary-Vancouver rivalry was so intense then. The teams hated each other and both had tough, tough guys that could be deployed. All that hate made the lopsided result so much the sweeter.

Those were some brutal teams (from the Sabres clip) - a team with Odjick, Brashear, Ledyard and Messier oddly skating around in the background. 12 games of Sean Burke when he completely lost his game, Erico Cicconi.... hell I think half the team was traded that year.

Oh I guess it makes you that much more thankful for what the Canucks do have now though!
