Not that it matters a lot I guess as playing hockey "anywhere" is better than nowhere... but why the Austrian league? That seems a fairly low level league compared to other options out there... but I guess you take what you can get when most jobs on teams are already taken... even for NHL caliber players.
I figure it's just harder for NHL North American players to get jobs in euro leagues.
Nice to see Hemsky putting up good numbers, even Smid from an offensive perspective. And then theres Petrell.... Whaaaa? 7 goals?!
Petrell had a hatty against Ilves, probably the worst team ever played in the finnish 1st division. Also heard that Ilves is close to be bankrupt and would be excluded if that happen. Then Petrell lose 3 goals.
Gags made his 1st game in austria, and they lost after a so 4-3 against a hungrian team, what the h ell,do they play hockey there?
Ps. Gags had 1 assist in the game! In the stats, he played Lw (Tyler spurgeon was C) in the 3th line.

Martin Ruzicka (who has never been a scorer in any league) is going insane by the way with 19G 9A 28P in 15 games.
50 points (26g,24a) in 2010-2011 in Czech League, decent season in the KHL last year (little better than 0.5 ppg), ripping it up this year in the Czech League? I think he has finally found his stride in the Czech League at the age of 26
