If we do, I think they'd have Jeremy Boyce centering it. I'd rather have Zibanejad or Rakell or preferrably both face the toughest competition though, along with Klefbom's pairing.

A pitty I think that Lundberg is cut. He have shown some life the last couple of games. Helps of course that SSK as a whole has elevated thier play. (Thanks Hagelin!)

Absolutely. Still think it was a bit odd that he wasn't drafted at all.

He is pretty big and strong, would have thought that they liked that in the NHL. It was a lot of D-men drafted I thought last year, maybe that was a trend or something. I dont know.

In fact I think the smaller rinks could suit him well. Lundberg isnt lightning fast (skating could be his major weakness), he is better suited for "tight" situations.

Mattias Janmark Nylén is on fire. Is he eligible for WJC or is he too old?

Born 24 days too early , otherwise he would have been a nobrainer. Must say I didn't thought he would have this kind of production in SEL this year.

A bit suprised Sundqvist didnt make the team for the camp in sundsvall. I think hes been pretty good in the J20 so far. But maybe hes just not good enough?

Swedish hockey association announce that U20 coach Roger Rönnberg will leave national Jr team after 2013. Rickard Grönborg will replace.

Nowhere, he's hired full-time by the federation.

Thats great, I wish they could have streamed Sweden-Finland instead though. Russia is bringing their B-squad if I'm not mistaken. It's good to see that we have some really good PS-shooters on this team. Ĺberg, Wikstrand and Collberg should take care of it if we find ourselves in that situation.

There will be streams for SWE-FIN and SWE-CZE with commentators, not for free however. 99 kr/game is a bit expensive but they can be watched outside of sweden.

Rumor is that Djoos injured his knee on warmup yesterday and had an operation today. Severity unknown.

My guess is that he's not playing in Sundsvall at least. Nielsen gets the call?

Hmm.. you usually don't have an operation on the knee that quick after? well might depend on type of knee injury maybe

Brodin just got banged up badly. Hall was tossed for hit to the head, Brodin was down for a good three minutes and hunched over as he was helped out of the ice.
