I might aswell rename my team to the Vancouver Canucks. I drafted half their defenseman without even noticing.

I noticed that! Be prepared to go days without a defenseman available.

Doesn't help that I also picked Luongo.

Hate having to give up Backstrom, but it had to be done to unite the Sedin Twins on my fantasy team.

Your team:
C: B. Richards, Nugent-Hopkins, Carter
LW: Lucic, Ryan, Fleischmann
RW: St. Louis, Simmonds, Williams
D: Yandle, Enstrom, Myers, Shattenkirk
G: Quick, Rinne, Dubnyk

Your Top 2 goalies are awesome.

Yeah man, I thought you were there live making the picks, your team ain't too shabby. Thanks for using auto-pick to all of you who weren't there, the draft went pretty smooth.

It's possible. But with Backstrom, he's a guy that I've been able to get in all my leagues, and he's a guy I feel can be a huge fantasy player. If Backstrom has a better fantasy season than D. Sedin, that's where my disappointment will come from.

Normally there would have been no way I'd make a trade like that, but with Koivu as a free agent, I had to make Backstrom expendable.

I did not draft my team but I totally accepted that trade!

For a team I didn't draft, I think the team is alright.

Usually when I make a trade, I feel it benefits me most, this one I'm not so sure, but with the guys available as free agents, I felt why not.

I hated getting the 6th pick in the draft, I was hoping for one of Crosby, Malkin, Stamkos, Giroux, or Ovechkin. My hope was someone would take Lundqvist allowing me to grab one of the Top 5 forwards, but that didn't happen, and I had to settle with Lundqvist which was something I didn't want.

Easy, when and if the lockout ends, the fantasy season will begin.

If it makes you feel any better, this is the first time in three years of fantasy hockey that I drafted early enough to get Crosby.

No, unfortunately. I think what hurts the most, is that with the #6 pick there was potential to get one of the guys I wanted, but it just didn't happen that way. Lundqvist is great though and I'm happy to have him.
