It's not practical because while those might be some of the companies that sponsor at the national level you also have a ton of local team sponsors.

Some products are easier than others to boycott. Americans can't exactly boycott the army. Say you boycott Pepsi because they sponsor at a national level, are you going to boycott Coke because they advertise with individual teams? If you're looking for a car, you're telling people to boycott Hondas. I know Toyota advertises with the Kings, I'd imagine other teams as well. Other car companies probably advertise with other teams around the league.

What about people with existing contracts? Do you expect people to pay early termination fees on contracts they might have with Verizon or Bell? Sirius XM is another one of those companies that people might have contracts with. If you are carrying a balance on a Visa card, you can't exactly stop making payments on it without damaging your credit.

So I'm supposed to move while the lockout is ongoing? Or just be a delinquent and not pay my taxes? How am I going to get a moving service without a telephone? How am I going to pay for anything if I cannot use my debit card?

I started Boycotting Geico and Enterprise three years ago just because of how annoying of sponsors they were during the playoffs. Why do I have to watch the same four commercials every break for three straight months?

And seriously how long does Geico need to keep four different pitch men that aren't funny anymore?

But I digress. In any event, I am not even sure if my Owner or the players on the team don't want to do the most recent deal or really are interested in negotiating.
