Another option is Robert Quarters (owner of Rich Productions and the Bisons).

Didn't Jacobs also say he would've interest in the Bills?
And I don't see him owning the Bruins as being a reason for him to not put an offer in if there's an opening. Always ways to work around stuff.

1) Terry Pegula for one. I'm sure there are others that you haven't heard of

2) Just because a person buys the team that doesn't live here, doesn't mean that they will automatically move them.

Terry Pegula doesn't live in NY last I knew, I admit i'm not big into hockey but it's hard not to have seen his name in the sports section once in the last two years even if you don't follow hockey.

Also I don't think you can own a team in multiple pro leagues, no? Atleast in the NFL that is true.

and how would people feel about that? From what I gathered it sounded like Golisano was into making money vs winning. I mean, making money is important but fans want a winner too. But really if you win you can make money anyway. Wasn't his initial buying of the hockey team more for a politicial push to get some kind of an advantage in hopes of running for NYS governor?

I'm not sure if it's true or not but doesn't Ralph have a plan in place for when he goes aside from just not selling in his lifetime? That would make some sense anyway. It sure would make it easier for fans if we knew what his intentions are.

I believe you are allowed because they are in different markets and don't have competing interests. I wouldn't see any conflict of interest in owning the Bruins and the Bills.

Even if Golisano was only in for it to make money..... the Bills make 20-40 million a year... he could just say make sure i don't lose money and still make hundreds of millions of dollars.

True, the defense is underperforming. Yes, the playcalling is horrendous, especially on D, but the players have some accountability. Maybe with time they will get it together.

I just don't think either player is all that good. Williams gets his sacks but gets hurt. He has a few solid games. As for Anderson he broke out last year but wasn't even close to an every down type player.

I've liked Mark Anderson this season. Guy has made some mistakes, sure, but hes made some plays too.

Upbeat Mario Williams returns to Buffalo Bills practice

Quote:
ORCHARD PARK — The surgery Mario Williams had to fix his sprained left wrist appears to have also done plenty in repairing the Buffalo Bills’ high-priced defensive end’s self-confidence.
If the Bills are to make a playoff run, Williams will have to play like beast.

If he picks up then the entire D-Line will be more productive.

What do people think of signing Vick in the offseason?

Mario has always been inconsistent. I doubt he can be consistent enough to lead this defense.

Vick has the most turnovers in the league, no thanks. You would have to trade for him and hes worth nothing.

Agreed. I don't see how a surgery can all of the sudden raise his confidence so much. Him and Mark Anderson are the same, one is just a lesser name cause he wasn't drafted #1. Not sure i'd call Mario a bust but for a #1 he's nothing to write home about really either. I'm guessing after the season he will need another surgery to completly clean out whatevers wrong.

Can't believe the Texans are only favored by 11.5.....thought it would be more like 14.5....

Not touching him with a 40ft pole. We don't need another subpar stopgap. Maybe we get lucky and can trade up for Barkley. Or maybe someone falls to us.
