I'd love to see a Goldobin - Galchenyuk - Moore line.
They'd be a much better team too as they'd have 2 lines that can score with at least one of Latta/Nikandrov on line 3, but Beaulieu seems completely stubborn on this issue and wants to keep his eggs in 1 basket.
Galchenyuks high skill level was certainly evident during that 1st period. He was truthfully one of the only players on the Sting who showed an ounce of skill. I can now understand why his point totals arent uber high. Looking to see how he plays on the PP at the start of the 2nd. Overall, not a bad period from him.
The few times i've watched the sting so far this season, they haven't looked very good at all. Very disjointed at both ends of the ice. While I'm sure Galchenyuk is still shaking off the rust, he's going to be a beast in the future.
Because their coach seems to view this as his safety blanket, put his 3 veteran top 6 forwards together (the only 3 they have), and Sarault only plays center while being strong on faceoffs, so Gally has to play the wing. The Sting were doing just fine when Galchenyuk was centering Goldobin and Hottot 2 weeks ago, they lost 1 game last Thursday and Beaulieu went right back to this combination.
Hottot being suspended for 8 more games probably means the all-eggs-in-1-basket line will stay together, unfortunately.
