Vancouver and I'm still alone after searching for a fellow home slice in vancouver on this board after over a year. Fate doesn't have it well for me for the days and nights I spend longing for another of my kind has taken a toll on my spirit. I've seen islanders fans, penguins fans, devils fans and even flyers fans but the blue, white and red still eludes me. Nonetheless I shall continue this quest for better days and in hopes of one day, be in a place who's spirits burn brighter than mine.

In other related news, I'm moving to NY once online poker is legal in the US again

Grew up in central NJ. Which was hell in the late 90s - early 00s as an NYR fan.

Worked in Minneapolis for 3 years but just moved back to the area a few months ago. Live in NJ work in the city.

Was really looking forward to going to the garden this year.

Westchester is no different from western Long Island. Heck, there are parts of LI that are rural, there's nowhere in Westchester like that. I never understand the "upstate" thing from people from the city.

I went to school at Kean and lived in Somerset. NJ to me, is no different than Upstate in certain aspects. Lots of Italians, crime-ridden cities, and farms.

LI is the same, without the crime-ridden cities.

grew up in various parts of southern/central new jersey. currently near tampa. had my choice of tri-state teams. dad was always a rangers fan. seemed more peaceful to follow suit as opposed to becoming a flyers or devils fan.

In New Hampshire.

2 hours from Boston, about 4 from the Bronx.

Born & raised in Tampa, FL.

Spent a tiny spell in Sunnyside, Queens. Miss it & NYC everyday.

The other half I'm in Rosedale, which is pretty much Nassau

I live on the last block in northern Bronx. I have a Bronx address. Right across the street is a Yonkers address. So I'm not upstate, but my buddy across the street is?

Wouldn't you be able to say a similar thing with people who live in Queens/LI?

If someone living on the last block in Queens has a buddy who lives across the street on LI, is he not in LI?
