Quailer just had an awesome shift. Defender tries to rub him out, and Quailer just goes right through him knocking him down. Then he carries the puck around the net and runs over someone. When Quailer gets going he's a freight train.

Also, I love how hard Gallagher drives the net. Like every single shift he just goes flying towards towards the net. Love the drive.

Geoffrion has actually been playing with emotion tonight, he seems very involved in the play and in scrums too.

EDIT: And Gallagher gets his first! Buries it from in close!

Yeah Gallagher!!

I was just about to say he's getting a lot of chances and that it shouldn't be long before he nets the first one.

Now I understand why Jake Gardiner was 1st round pick from the Leafs. This player has so much skills and hockey IQ. I didn't notice him last year in the NHL but he's clearly one of the best players on ice. I wish we had him but we traded our 1st round pick in 2008 to Calgary for Alex Tanguay.

2-1 Marlies btw (Gardiner)

2-2 Gallagher tied up

He was drafted by the Ducks and went several picks before our 25th overall that year.

The Ducks GM should be fired for that trade.

Scoring on the goal:

2. HAM Gallagher, (1) (Quailer, Bournival), 9:59 (PP)

I love how Gallagher literally doesn't give a fk who's in net and around it.

Nice, so the Ducks too made a Gomez trade sending Gardiner to Toronto.

Gallagher to St-Denis and it's 3-2. Very nice goal!

Holland gets the 2nd assist.

OEL played as a shutdown dman putting up those stats, Gardiner is an offensive specialist in the NHL.

Which should go to show the gap between NHL and AHL that a guy who is questionably a top 4 in the top league crushes the AHL even during the lockout.

I'd take OEL over Gardiner pretty easily, he's a more complete player.

But Gardiner is very nice, he's way too good for the AHL at this point. Having him and Reilly in a few years is going to give the Leafs to potent waves.

Hopefully Beaulieu can be anything like Gardiner.
