I could be mistaken, but since the Fall 2011 HF prospect rankings, nobody has risen more than Baertschi.

Jankowski had 2 goals in his first game at Providence and was the first star. Way to early to tell if he was the right pick but what a great start.

Jankowski is listed as 6"3 now. Wasn't he 6"1/6"2 when he was drafted

Coda Gordon has 14 points in 11 games. So far, it is an improvement from last year!

Jank's offensive potential is off the charts by the sounds of it

Henrik Bjorklund have 16 points in 13 games in SEL-2. SEL-2 is better then you guys think it is, its a very good league. Bjorklund is big and physical and only 22 years old. Why not bring him over to Abbotsford Heat next year? Seems like a latebloomer.

I don't believe the Flames hold his rights anymore. They never signed him to a entry level deal, and as 2009 draft pick, his rights would have expired in 2011.

I'm really hoping he kills it this year.

Bill Arnold is going to be a player I think. He was a hidden steal in the 4th round as some had him as a 2nd rounder. His coach has said he does for them what Bergeron does for the Bruins.

I think Reinhart, Horak and Arnold will be a solid 2-4 for our center depth.

Then it's either a Jankowski home run or a UFA signing for first line.

Add Backlund to the mix as well.

Our center depth is pretty decent, especially in 2 way centermen.

5-3 ABB win no points for Baertschi but 2 for TJ Brodie and add 2 more goals for Horak. Anyone see this game and want to share what they saw?

Horak has 6 goals now this season and is leading the AHL in goals. I said this before, if Backlund doesn't bring it this year, Horak could steal his job. He looks as though he came to play this year.

I love Horak and I'm just really happy to see him doing well offensively. I hope he can keep it up and bring it with him when/if the NHL resumes operations. I have to say I'd never have expected him to do this well at this point. Still early in the season though.

We sure could use a young stud center right about now.
