griffins look good in the o-zone, but as soon as they have to defend it's just painful.

Quite a bit of guys on that blueline with no idea how to complete a first pass.

I've been saying this is a problem for years.

Would've liked to see Almquist tonight.

Giving up shorthanded goals? That sounds familiar

almquist can't be worse than any of these D. smith i don't even notice and any D i notice is just because of mistakes. it's scary.

the griffins always just sign the bad vets. the good vets play elsewhere.

I can really see why Billins is playing, he's pretty good, but some of the veterans are not doing alright.

Smith has been alright other than the one time he let the guy passed him. At least he's not having any bad turnovers.

Griffins don't even look close to scoring.

Billins? His last name might as well be Lebda.

He's weak but one of the few guys on that blue line that can skate and move the puck.

He and Smith are the only dmen who can make a decent first pass. Idk how we're gonna score when 4/6 of our dmen suck.

Oh well it was fun with a GDT. Nothing new with the Griffins tonight, but at least one period of entertainment.

Well we lost but most of our promising prospects were impressive. Especially Gus and Tats.

Thats pretty much what I mean. Fortunately, he has enough skill in the offensive zone to put up some numbers, but he's a pushover in the defensive zone, and was out of position many times.

I saw a lot of great individual plays tonight, but almost zero chemistry among the lines.

Interesting how Nyquist and Smith both tried to do it all on their own in the last 5 minutes or so there.

Paetsch wears an 'A' and is supposed to be a minute-eater, but he looked terrible out there tonight in all zones. Almqvist needs to get the nod over one of these guys.

After the first period, you would have thought this was a sure win if they could maintain the energy. Unfortunately, lack of discipline was the death of this team tonight. They never seemed to recover after killing multiple penalties.

And man, our defense is awful!

Also, I think Nyquist tries to be a little too fancy for his own good sometimes.

Ya Gus tries to be a little to fancy sometimes, but he'll make better decisions the more he plays.

That's horrid. Mule will be wearing a cage by week 2.

So Im guessing PP2 will look something like
Bert Filp Brunner
Smith/KQ/CC White

If the Brunner/Z magic keeps developping I hope they get a chance on the PP together ... that quick release off the half wall is something I hope to see allot of when this year finally gets going.

That sounds pretty interesting, I hope Aubry gets a shot centering a scoring line.
