Mostly looking for strong, physical play with a bunch of PK mins. Shutting down the opposition at ES. If he produces offense it's pretty much gravy. I'm personally not expecting a bunch of points but if he starts to produce then you have to put him back into consideration for a 2nd/3rd line center spot at the NHL level.

Has anyone watched much of Frk this season? I can't help but notice that his production has slowed. How is his skating looking?

Marchenko scored a goal today, took a slapshot that took some funny bounces and deflected of an opposing player.

Impressive for a guy playing 5 minutes/game.

RWC has another prospect update posted. Pulkkinen's goal scoring drought is getting noticed some more. One things for sure, it's not from a lack of shots - RWC has him firing 61 in 15 games this year.

The completely unexpected just happened: Pulkkinen skated past the d-man and scored on a "half-breakaway"! They lead 2-1 with 10min to go.

EDIT. Game over, Pulu with the winner. The goal was a huge gift from the ref, as he clearly tripped a guy in his own end right before the goal.

Jokerit fans were predicting that the refs would decided the game but didn't expect they'd be on the benefiting side. SM-liiga refs have been exceptionally poor this season.

Gift or no gift, all I care is that Pulkkinen finally scored a legit goal.

If he'll want to be that Brett hull, it's time to start scoring some questionable goals.

Every time someone mentions those two guys in the same sentence, I cringe.

Tvrdon with an 1 assist and +1, in another Vancouver loss.

Still would like to see more goals.

Frk also had an assist +/-0, 6-2 Halifax win.

Jake Paterson seems to be very inconsistent or then he's team sucks. At times he's great, like this month he has 4 games in which he let in only 1 goal, and then suddenly he has two games(4+ periods to be more exact) in a row in which he lets in 12 goals...

4 GA, 11/15 saves tonight and pulled at 23:25.

There is a reason Osgood likes him so much.

Looks like Marchenko has scored again, even though playing #7 D minutes. Pavel with an assist as well.

Didn't Markstrom say something about Tatar a couple years ago how he was the best player he ever faced or something? Anybody have a direct quote if true?

After seeing him play a couple weeks ago against Niagara, I'd have to lean toward his team not being very good. He was constantly facing odd man rushes, and made several fantastic saves. His team got outshot 45-21. He gave up 4 goals that night, but it easily could have been 8 or 10.

I guess we'll see how he does on a good team, I read today he was going to be part of the subway series. He will be facing some serious competition in Yakupov and comrades.

Love this pic, who does he remind you of?

Ouellet on NHL Network and the Griffins on FS Detroit. It's a good night to be a fan of Wings prospects.

Ouellet with 0+1 tonight. Pretty much played the entire game (actually about 40 minutes). Was on the ice for every minute of the PPs and PKs

Finally Tvrdon scores, hatty for him tonight 3+1 and plus 3. Was in all 4 Vancouver goals, his team is currently last in the WHL and has seemed to have trouble scoring as a whole.

I wanna see Tvrdon do well because he is one of the few wings prospects with great size and skill.
