Maybe we should find another league in our situation and just merge together

Still open to the Adam for Ference swap if that is still on the table though.
Is L. Adam signed? If so, to what terms and I'm debating it. I've unloaded Savard, but I still need to shed a few $$ I think.

RR league only had like 5-7 active GMs so it was pointless, I've been pissed off in this league since my Flyers were outsted in the first round.

I'm still here, just gonna sign the league minimum for my rosters and ride of the season as I have to resign Kessel, Giroux and Phanny next off season.

btw my issues with this league has always been how sparadic it's been, lets get a set simming sched laid out before we start a new season shall we.

I got the moves like Jagr.

Can't remember the exact details, but I think 2 years at 2.2? (I offered less than his asking price)

Steen-Skinner-Parenteau
Joikenen-Johansson-Downie
Sobotka-Fisher-Jagr
McDonald-Arnott-Langenbrunner

Pretty happy with my team now.

That's what I thought being the president trophy winner and all going into the playoffs. Then I got swept by the team who sold me those moves. Lesson learnt!

So is anybody interested in a depth defenseman? I have Kevin Klein (77) and Scott Hannan (79). Hannan is 34, but Klein is only 27. I would also be willing to move Teemu Laakso (80) who is only 25 and has more room to grow. Reason being is I have Ryan Ellis as my first callup, and Joe Morrow waiting in the wings next year and 7 NHL defenseman.

Boumeester-Carlson
Shultz-McBain
Pitkanen-Cole

Halak
Lehner
Gustavsson

I'm going to try and play Cole in a top 4 role, in the hopes that he develops like McBain. Also going to try to give Lehner 25 games if i can. I hope to break the Boumeester curse this season!

Semin - E. Staal - Erat
Paajarvi - J. Staal - Oshie
Boyes - Desharnais - LaRose
Stewart - Brent - Nodl

Erhoff - Shattenkirk
Liles - Gleason
Polak - Scuderi

Ward
Peters

The wingers in the top-six might move around a bit. I'm not sure if I should put Oshie or Erat on the top line. They are the same overall, while Oshie has more potential. However Erat lead my team in points last year so the spot will most likely go to him. I will probably play Faulk in the AHL as he missed most of last season and is only 78 overall.

Sharp - Toews - Hossa
Latendresse - Kane - Frolik
Carcillo - Bolland - Stalberg
Olesz - Kruger - Hayes

Keith - Seabrook
Hjalmarsson - Zidlicky
Leddy - Montador

Mike Smith
Labarbera

I still hope to tinker around with the roster a little bit but I feel like this team is better than last years who finished 2nd last in the league

I'm open to any trade discussions, my only two untouchables are Toews and Keith unless my socks get knocked off with a crazy offer haha.

If anybody is looking for a solid defenseman for their 3rd pairing, Johnny Oduya is available (80 overall, 1 year left at $3.385 M). I'm willing to take back either a draft pick or another overpaid forward (ideally 3rd liner).

Question: is it possible to bury players in the minors in this mode? And is CPU trading allowed still or is that done..?

You can burry players in the minors and no AI trades.

How'd you get Couturier again? I like your 2nd and 3rd punch down the middle. Missing that 1st line center tho.

I think Anisimov is actually 86 overall now. Not sure though.
