How about a sign and trade? I think I just used up any capspace I had left with my offer to Zubrus. Makes me feel stupid because I overpaid for Colby fuggin Armstrong. Totally bid against myself for no reason haha...though 2.4 million for a third liner could be worse I guess.

I'm okay with my team as it is. I would like to sim some games to see how they do, so I'm going to wait until the first quarter of the season to table trade requests.
Still open to the Adam for Ference swap if that is still on the table though.
Is L. Adam signed? If so, to what terms and I'm debating it. I've unloaded Savard, but I still need to shed a few $$ I think.

Im planning on simming 2 weeks a day, once at 1 PM and again at 11 PM. Also starting after the sim tonight at 11 im going to start simming twice a day to get to the season fast.
That's what I thought being the president trophy winner and all going into the playoffs. Then I got swept by the team who sold me those moves. Lesson learnt!
So is anybody interested in a depth defenseman? I have Kevin Klein (77) and Scott Hannan (79). Hannan is 34, but Klein is only 27. I would also be willing to move Teemu Laakso (80) who is only 25 and has more room to grow. Reason being is I have Ryan Ellis as my first callup, and Joe Morrow waiting in the wings next year and 7 NHL defenseman.
Thats a ton of depth. Hows the defense and goaltending looking?

I'm going to try and play Cole in a top 4 role, in the hopes that he develops like McBain. Also going to try to give Lehner 25 games if i can. I hope to break the Boumeester curse this season!
The wingers in the top-six might move around a bit. I'm not sure if I should put Oshie or Erat on the top line. They are the same overall, while Oshie has more potential. However Erat lead my team in points last year so the spot will most likely go to him. I will probably play Faulk in the AHL as he missed most of last season and is only 78 overall.

If anybody is looking for a solid defenseman for their 3rd pairing, Johnny Oduya is available (80 overall, 1 year left at $3.385 M). I'm willing to take back either a draft pick or another overpaid forward (ideally 3rd liner).
Question: is it possible to bury players in the minors in this mode? And is CPU trading allowed still or is that done..?

You can burry players in the minors and no AI trades.
