Unfortunately, in the fall, leaves dry up and crumble...what a fitting name for that organization

Don't forget the Wellwood/Spezza comparisons based on AHL numbers during the last lockout.

Found the thread. Higgins was also in the comparison.

Colaiacovo was gonna become one the best offensive defenseman in the NHL.
Robbie Earl is the steal of the 2004 draft.
Luke Schenn "the eliminator" will be the core of the leafs defense for the next 15 years.

To be fair with them now, Gardiner is probably the best defenseman in the AHL right now and he's bound to become a top defenseman!

Not to mention Rielly is one of the best junior defencemen.

I think leafs fans are hilarious because they aren't us. I mean, I saw someone in the Avtsin thread saying that "Avtsin could be the biggest thing since Stamkos."

We have a lot of full retards on the prospect boards ourselves.

I think every fanbase has retards. Ours, however, is a large fanbase, so more retards.

We're really not in position to make fun of the Leafs hfboards fanbase.

The game isn't listed on the OHL action pack, but it appears to be streaming from Hockeystreams.

So it looks like its being broadcasted.

I agree with this. Every fanbase tends to hype up prospects, or even put unrealistic expectations on them. Especially ones that they don't get to see often. It's just part of being a fan. The Leafs and Habs are two of the biggest fanbases, so of course they tend to have more bad apples than most.

EDIT: haha, I just noticed the title. When was it changed?

See.. Now I gotta disagree. I think Iím in the perfect position to make fun of the leaf fans.. Iím sitting behind a computer screen where I can suffer no real consequence for voicing my bias opinion of them.

Allow me to demonstrate..

LEAF FANS SUCK!!!

Ha! Look at thatÖ It worked!

That was on a setup from Sarault, correct? Announcers here said it went high but from Gally's reaction I knew it had to be a crossbar or maybe the stick of the goalie or something.

Outside of the crossbar shot by Gally he has been very quiet including a few blind pass turnovers. Although in his defense, the play dies on Boucher's stick...UGH

1-0 Sarnia at the end of the first.

Galchenyuk has been moving his feet early on and created some chances. He took a pass from Sarault and nailed it off the crossbar. He also had a few nice passes but nothing came out of them. He two turnovers to McDavid near the end of a long shift too. He looks quick out there, but hasn't gotten a wealth of scoring chances so far.

The Boucher - Sarault - Galchenyuk line seemed to not get much ice time near the middle of the period. It came off a shift were Boucher had about 5 turnovers in a row.

All three of them worked the boards pretty well for one shift, but that was about it. Despite what the Erie announcers are saying, the Otters have been much better than the Sting.

Glad I'm not the only one who sees that. He's been absolutely terrible in the past couple games. The puck comes to his stick and he loses it right away.

Gally assist!

damnit, maybe not. Lets get Galchenyuk off Boucher and Sarault's line. I seem to get 14 and 94 confused

EDIT: assist given to Boucher

EDIT 2: McDavid continues his streak!

3-1 for Sarnia at the end of the second.

A pretty strong period for Galchenyuk. He had like 5 beautiful passes. Behind the back, between the legs, cross ice saucer. You name, he had it. He was great on the PP, but on even strength he was pretty quiet. His been creating chances, but his teammates (Boucher) can't convert tonight. He had some good board work, too.

I'd to see him start shooting more next period. Also I'd like to see him without Sarault and Boucher, they clearly aren't working right now. Sarnia's winning so I doubt that will happen. Still waiting for my Goldobin - Galchenyuk - Moore line.

Speaking of Goldobin. Poor guy, he's looked lost since him and Gally have been split up. His decision making is poor and he seems to be second guessing every move that he makes.

EDIT: sorry for triple post. Where is everyone tonight?
