Here's a point that you guys may have overlooked:

Lincecum's success out of the pen is accompanied by Posey calling him and catching. Lincecum starting was HackTor Sanchez.

Dunno what the deal is with them, if there's any, but Posey needs to catch him.

Yeah. Beltran is the prototype hitter for At&t, on mobile so it's hard for me to pull it up, but look up Beltran's career triple slash at At&t it's sexy.

On the contract front, I can understand why there may have been some miscommunication from the Giants and Beltran. Beltran switched agents from Boras to Lozano in the middle of the offseason last year. It stalled negotiations with teams and the Giants went ahead with plan B and C, if they ever intended to sign Beltran in the first place.

The Giants will end up paying Pence more than they would've paid Beltran.
