Before we go banana sandwich, why dont we wait for an official word on Rask's injury. I totally understand the frustration of course, but it could be very minor too - he did finish the period, and if you recall last time, he went right down and out

This is why I'm staying positive for now.

Apparently Patrick Kane will be joining EHC Biel. I dread possible party pics...

Seguin has a hat trick and an assist so far tonight.

It seems to be a small injury at the hand from the match with biel. It was a precautional stop and seems certain it will be playing friday vs Davos (with Nash, Thornton)

Only 2 injuries in his career, last year being the worst. Unless you have stats to back up your claim give me a break.

Updated stats are in post 107. He is "only" a -4.

They also correctly took away his assist on the 1st goal last game.

Rask robbed Krejci in the shootout and got the win stopping all 3 shootout shots. Nice move backhand to forehand by Krejci but fanned a little on trying to roof it and Rask gloved it.

Krejci with 1 Goal today

Wanna see the goal he scored? I'm just saying, he could do better. I'm not really sure what kind of a player he is in NHL, and he's not that bad, buuuuuut... You know... He DOES play in the NHL and I'd wish a bit more. You know, "the other NHL-guys in Finnish league that are flashy and bling bling and such..."-aspect?

If you think Peverley is going to bring flash and bling bling, you've never seen him play. He's a workmanlike, hustling third-liner who can sometimes step into a top-6 role, not a star.

When my daughter and I went to Prague we met many B's fans from all over the world. At the second game a young man from Switzerland sat next to us. He knew a lot about the B's and watched the games in the middle of the night. He read this board and knew who I was from my posts.

I sent him a PM because of our B's playing in his country and heard back so I thought I would share..."Yes Tyler and Patrice both play in Switzerland! :-) Of course I miss the NHL too, but I have to admit that it is also quite awesome to be able to see some of my favorite players here in my country. Unfortunately they do not play in my city (Patrice even plays on the other side of the country in Lugano), but I already managed to see Tyler twice and Patrice once (I traveled to Lugano last weekend to see them play each other! :-)). Another advantage of the lockout is, that now I can always sleep during the night. ;-) I still hope that you will get back your NHL soon!

Greetings
Olivier"

So one positive thing is some of the B's fans living in Europe get to see the B's play.

I wish they would all come back and play here.

That's very true. But even though I get to see one of my favourite Bruins play for my favourite german team (Mannheim) right in front of my eyes, I'd rather see him play for the Bruins on a 800k-stream at 1 o'clock at night.
It was and it still is a special feeling since I've never been to the US and thus never saw the Bruins play at TDG, but ... yeah.

I mean, sleep at night is all good and stuff, but I'd much rather see NHL-hockey and especially the Bruins. And I'm pretty sure that any European who loves the Bruins feels the same way.

Krejci vs Ference today. Ference won 5-2.

2 goals for Krejci. 1st on a breakaway up the middle from Hemsky. My feed froze so I didn't see the 2nd. Krejci drew a penalty shot (saved) and at least one other penalty driving the net to take passes from Hemsky. They work great together. If he didn't have injury problems, I would love to have him on Krejci's wing.

Also noted tough guy David "The Animal" Krejci took a roughing penalty. Defender gave him a little elbow, Krejci gave him a facewash, other guy took a huge punch at Krejci and missed and Krejci was the only one with a penalty.

Rask in action today too, currently in progress.

I will update stats after all games are complete

I would love to see the goal...do you have video?

How do you know he could do better if you don't know what type of player he is?

He has said that he is a little disappointed with his play so far but these guys didn't have training camps and jumped in to a season in progress. There actually aren't many NHL guys that are outperforming him.

He isn't a flashy player and he isn't a goal scorer. He is a 2nd line player who plays 3rd line on the Bruins. Fast, versatile, pass first, 2 way player, plays PK and PP, can play point on the powerplay. Good overall player but far from a flashy star.

Just because your expectations are out of touch with reality doesn't mean he is doing poorly as the picture I responded to implies. If 10 points in 11 games is just "practicing figure skating" then I will take more figure skaters on my team.

And as you said he is an NHL player. So that is all I really care about. How he does when he plays for the Bruins. Hopefully that happens soon and you won't have to watch him anymore.
