That was a weird game. The Bruins had some great pressure at times, but they were murdered in their defensive zone tonight. Blown coverages and bad goaltending (Hutchinson especially) all over the place.

Lockout can't end fast enough. This team might get better once some of the other team's talents make their way to the NHL.

Frankly I'm not all that concerned with their performance

Sure, I want them in the playoffs, but the ones that are going to make it will regardless of overall team performance

And it's only the beginning of the season, a weird one at that

bingo- although the competition of the league will make Boston's players much better long run and that is really what is important.

The Falcons by my estimation have easily a half dozen guys who will dress in their first weekend back with Blue Jackets. I'm actually shocked the Bruins beat them and played so well last weekend.

But if you are Chiarelli you want Sauve, Bourque, Caron, and company playing against this type of talent.

well, then blame Boston's guys (NHL coaches with rings) as well because those guys are on the ice with Providence players after practice and working on specific things- they (the Bruins hiearchy) are all over that place

It's simple to me- every roster I have looked at has regular NHL players top 9 or 6 guys even if just one (Voynev, although they have 3 or 4 others who will dress bottom guys) and Providence doesn't.

I don't think its coaching at all- had Seguin not missed the cut and was playing this team would look pretty good right now

are you coming down this year if they play? looking forward to seeing you at the Grille
