Heat didn't lose yet. For their team, you can watch one of the few Flames great picks to come in Sven Bartschi. And another good Rangers pick now traded to Calgary in Roman Horak. And they have vets that are 70 year old like Krys Kolanos or Quintin Laing..... Will be a good test for our defensive system and the D's.....but we do have Mayer in net......So, let's hope it's a close game.

I tell you, this is really intriguing. Tons of teams right now in the AHL have guys that would be playing in the NHL if there were a season. While we don't have anybody in Hamilton. Nobody no matter how you look at it or how optimistic you are. Gallagher would not have started with us. Not Beaulieu, not anyboyd, not even the "vets" like Blunden and Geoffrion. But others do have those guys. Which then makes the Dogs a rather weak squad right now, but would be rather good when all those guys leaves the AHL.

Leblanc....although he's injured.

By and large you're exactly right, although the big club isn't really deep enough to avoid calling up a Leblanc and/or Geoffroin pretty darn quick, if not from the start.

Really, this is evidence to me that the Habs are not close to turning it around in any meaningful way. There's so much parity in the NHL that the Habs could be a bottom feeder or a playoff team, but the best young talent is either already established in the NHL or quite far away from it. I don't see any of our prospects having a major impact in the NHL this season, if there is one. Which mitigates the blow of the lockout a bit, I have to admit.

I was hoping to watch this one too, especially since its on TV, figured it'd be an extra nice stream and everything. ATDHE has failed me!

If only Eastlink had TVA Sports.

Pedneault: Owners about to present ''a business model'' to the PA is the talk. Whatever that means.

And overlords/onice, I just puked a little, haha.
