Just don't be driving around in this slop. I work for AAA the last 2 days have sucked. I hope all this preperation these people are doing means these people arent going out in this thing when it starts because nobodies coming to get you. State of Emergency means only emergency vehicles on the road, Tow trucks ain't emergency vehicles you want a ride you better call 911.
The school district I teach at already closed for Monday and Tuesday. I am thinking it has more to do with the wind possibly pushing buses over than anything else. The building I teach at sits in a flood plain so they told us to get important stuff off the floor and had orange sand bags outside of the doors before we left on Friday and even more when I went to the building last night.

Temple is closed for Monday and Tuesday and they almost never close.
I think the Philadelphia school district will probably end up closing as well.
It's supposed to hit Ontario in a day or so. It's been raining all weekend but they also said we'd get northwest winds Tuesday or Wednesday which means cold so I don't know how that will affect things.

It's already flooding in South Jersey, it's going to be messy, the power outages are going to suck, but we're stocked up on everything, should be fun!!!!
I work for the NJ court system. Closed tomorrow (confirmed). Probably Tuesday, maybe Wednesday. My wife works for the nuclear plant at Oyster Creek and has to work the overnight shift tonight. I'm just hoping she doesn't get stuck there for a few days. Ugh.

I don't think we're expecting snow yet, they said the temps would be around 7-10 celcius the first few days of the week so that's way too mild for snow.
We are ready here to. Hell, I still have bags of ice from last year. Other than no power, trees are my main issue here but who knows? I know one thing, I am done with no power anymore after this. I ordered a generator and have the electrician set up to install the transfer switch once it gets in. We lose our power around here when a flea farts But I love the country so it is what it is.
