He is an NHL player playing tier 3. He should have 3 goals a game.

I know a captain of a tier 2 team and he was too fat and slow to get drafted.

Are they using "I will survive" as their goal song?

Condra better own it. I got a friend at uni who used to play division 2 for Germany and said it was so easy.

I have no idea. Here's the goal song anyways.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUfjj0KHaNY

And Jokerit goal song which is Maynard Ferguson's Gonna Fly Now from the movie Rocky 1. A bit faster version of the original song.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wXZke20gto

The longer version of the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFcVWvK74pE

And what exactly would you call then? A match cos he's the star player who got hit?

Being a ref myself, I'd leave it as a good hit... Perhaps you can argue 2 mins for roughing with the high hands...

In relation to Condra, he might as well play in the men's league I ref... We had an average Germany Div 3 guy who tore it up over here...

A couple possible streams for tonight's FBK-Jokerit game. I have no idea if they'll work or not.

Jokerit lost today to Färjestad BK 4 -1 but I don't have personal stats for Karlsson. He didn't get any points, though.

One more picture from Friday's game against Ilves.

Maybe someone could be interested - Milan Michalek scored two goals for his team in his last game. Video here http://www.hokejcb.cz/clanek.asp?id=...rdubicemi-5400 he wears number 69 and scored the second and the fifth (pretty neat btw) goal of the red team.

According to Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter, Erik Karlsson won't participate in Karjala Tournament next week.

http://www.dn.se/sport/ishockey/erik...ar-karjala-cup

Karjala Cup is an annual tournament held in Finland. Karjala is a beer brand in Finland.

Four national teams participate: Finland, Sweden, Russia and Czech Republic. I believe there will be streams available when the games start.

NOV 07, 2012: FINLAND @ RUSSIA in Finland, 6:30 PM Finnish, 11:30 AM Ottawa
NOV 07, 2012: SWEDEN @ CZECH REPUBLIC in Czech Republic, TBA
NOV 09, 2012: RUSSIA @ SWEDEN in Finland, 3:00 PM Finnish, 8:00 AM Ottawa
NOV 09, 2012: CZECH REPUBLIC @ FINLAND in Finland, 6:30 PM Finnish, 11:30 AM Ottawa
NOV 10, 2012: CZECH REPUBLIC @ RUSSIA in Finland, 1:00 PM Finnish, 6:00 AM Ottawa
NOV 10, 2012: SWEDEN @ FINLAND in Finland, 5:00 PM Finnish, 10:00 AM Ottawa

Regin is already leaving Langenthal, where he had a game-to-game contract until the return of Jeff Campbell, their second foreigner who was injured. Coming back to Ottawa Wednesday.

"Look at the Video highlights game in which fell seven wickets. Pardubice beat HC MOUNTFIELD 5:2 and hockey fans as the Budvar Arena saw great performances. After the end of the match to extra together with domestic champions to celebrate the joy of winning."

Any news about what he plans on doing? i.e. another "short term" contract in Europe?

Ex-Nashville, current Tampa Bay goalie Anders Lindbäck, was interviewed after yesterday's first game in Ilves jersey. Ilves lost 3 -2 in OT and Lindbäck made 38/41 saves. In his interview he said that one of the main reasons he wanted to play in SM-liiga was that SM-liiga is the most NHL-like in Europe in terms of style of play. The game is much more straightforward and faster than in the Swedish Elitserien. At least according to Lindbäck.

Maybe this is one of the reasons Karlsson chose SM-liiga over Elitserien? Or then it's just because of Jarkko Ruutu.
