I have heard about it but haven't seen it (Had the real game on TV at time)
Was only watching and hoping for Bowe points... The hit wasn't anything we haven't seen before, but he was basically laughing in Cassel's face because he hurt him, no joke. Even the announcers called him out for acting like a *******.
I never get over how loud cheers are in Cowboys Stadium for calls that go against the home team. Hilarious how little home field advantage that place has on account of fans of every team wanting to go down there and visit the thing en masse.
I was at this game too, and agree with the above poster in that it was about 50 minutes of bad, deflating football, and an incredibly exciting 10 minutes and a very fun game to be at in the end.
Bottom line, what Lovie said in his post-game press conference is true. It may have been an "ugly" win, but it's still a win. And ALL NFL teams have games where they just don't play well, no matter who the opponent is, and when you can still come away and win those games, it's huge.
That being said, my mid-season review of our offense isn't stellar. Forget the O-Line, we all know the issues there, but I'm most concerned with play calling and play design. Tice's play calling hasn't been good so far this year, and he certainly doesn't "play chess" with the opposing Defensive Coordinator. You never feel like he is running certain plays to set up other things down the road. Hopefully he gets better, but I don't see him as a prolific OC like some of the others in the league (or even Martz who I think was very good at play design).
And, as I mentioned above, it's not just the play calling, but the play design. We could be a GREAT play-action team, but it seems like the only play-action we run are fade routes. Why, on 2nd and 2 (in an obvious play-action situation BTW) is it always a deep route? Can't we get a guy open over the middle? Intermediate out? If there was one thing Martz did well, it was design plays and get people open. Some of the other good OCs (such as Gilbride in NYG) do the same thing. Our plays, for the most part, seem very vanilla to me. I'm having flashbacks to the Ron Turner era. Yes, we have more talent, but we will be holding ourselves back if we don't stop being so predictable and run-of-the-mill.
If we win next week (we should) we will be 7-1 and a virtual lock for the playoffs. My only hope is in the remaining 8 weeks of the season, that our offense continues to not just develop, but evolve, and we are able to be more creative. We will have to be to make a deep playoff run. The Defense won't always be there to bail us out, especially against playoff teams.

I'm OK with Johnston/Albert, but Sirogussa is WORTHLESS. Just a big dumb oaf, who sounds like he is stuffing his face with a Polish Sausage when he chimes in with some additional useless information that they pretend is "insight."
Todays game is exactly what good teams do, they win games despite playing horribly most of the game and it was good to see. Horrible game but a great win.
Let the haters talk about Cutler being poor and this team not winning a decisive game at the end of the day they won the game and have the 2nd best record in the NFL.
