It was and it still is a special feeling since I've never been to the US and thus never saw the Bruins play at TDG, but ... yeah.

I mean, sleep at night is all good and stuff, but I'd much rather see NHL-hockey and especially the Bruins. And I'm pretty sure that any European who loves the Bruins feels the same way.

I think you should plan a trip to Boston once the NHL returns. .

There is not much positive to me by having no B's to watch so I thought one thing that was good was for some of you to be able to see some of the players.

I love that there are so many Bruin's fans all over the world.

That Soderberg guy is making the rest of the team look bad.

Makes sense, because I've never seen him play (before). I'm just saying, "cuz all the other NHL guys are doin' the bling bling ding dong ding dong sing along"-thing in FEL.

But as a third-liner it all becomes clear, and I'm not saying that I don't like him as a player, but our team has three third-line centers - just the case back here. It's no Peverleys fault, obviously.

I've only heard rumours, and look at my message above. Obviously I had false expectations, that's all - no hard feelings.

Here's the goal, a beauty! (I guess you can find him, but just to make sure, black shirt #49, starts at 3:04): http://www.nelonenpro.fi/j%C3%A4%C3%...a/media/478619

Thanks, its good to see some more Bruins players in action. No problem and I was originally responding to the guy who said he is out there figure skating. I don't think that was you unless you have 2 different usernames. Most NHLers are about a Point per game. Peverley is in the top 3rd of NHLers overseas.

Seems like people were expecting Claude Giroux and are acting like they got Paul Bissonette, when what they got is Rich Peverley.

Enjoy the NHL players while you can. Hopefully it isn't much longer

I have seen most of the games Peverley has played here, and I have to say that he has been lucky to get those point totals. Lots of second assists and that goal was pure luck. He has been decent, but definitely not standing out in any way. He hasn't really looked like a NHLer so far. But I still believe he will get better as the season goes on.

Peverley is one of those "do the little things right" kind of guys that's apt to get lots of secondary assists. Then again, I don't share a lot of people's disdain for the secondary assist.

Any time you guys over in Finland want to send him back, we're all waiting over here.

I get how everyone over here wants to defend Peverley. I love him, too, since he was a huge part of the Stanley Cup Champions.

But ... even though he is a hard worker in the NHL, he should be bringing some more in Sweden. It's not like he is a pure grinder. He can easily put up 60+ points in the NHL, so I don't get why he isn't that effective in Sweden.
Marcel Goc e.g. is also a "do the little things"-kind of player, but for our club over here he has been overwhelming each of his teammates so far.
Of course, you cannot compare Sweden to Germany, but I think you get my point. (Well, I hope, let's say that ... I'm a little dizzy right now, sorry)

Peverley certainly could do better. I haven't seen any games, but i'm shocked how the guys here "rate" him ...

I'm not sure either, but maybe it has got something to do with the fact that Finland hasn't been part of Sweden since 1809?

Sorry mate, I just couldn't help it. But anyways, I agree what you just wrote there about Peverley.

Forgive him, braunbear is German, they just see that whole area as "Northern Germany"

Tuukka has been nominated to play for the Finnish National team in the Karjala Cup. I'm not personally familiar with the level of competition that specific event attracts, but nonetheless still pretty cool to see him get some recognition for his play overseas.

The Karjala Cup is usually the place where the players (mostly those Finns that are playing in FEL) are tested for the first time in international games, but this time due to lockout there are some interesting names.

Let's just say the other goalie for the Karjala Cup is Pekka Rinne.

Look like Chris Kelly is off to the Swiss alps too. A one month contract with a 2nd division team.
