The Giants, Eagles, Redskins, and Cowboys all suck.

Has to be the weakest NFC East in eons.

This is so tense, and the Giants aren't helping by calling timeout after every play.

Edit: Giants pull it out but give me a heart attack in the process. With 6 turnovers that should not have been so difficult.

If you truly believe the giants "suck" I suggest you find another sport to watch because you clearly know nothing about football.

The Colts are a flukey 80 yard Gabbert pass away from being 5-2.

The Colts are three last second/OT points away from being 1-6.

Falcons are only team in NFC that doesn't have major weakness

- Giants secondary is awful
- Bears offense is feeble/inconsistant more often then good
- Packers have no run game

Etc , Etc , etc

Football is a game of inches and seconds. Every team has wins where they just scraped by, and every team has losses where they were inches away from victory. Parsing everyone's records by those close wins and losses is pointless.

The Falcons were my preseason super bowl pick. Their weakness is they can't really run the ball either. Turner fell off the Earth a year ago.

Matt Ryan is finally becoming an elite QB though so it makes up for t.

Ya, they are dreadful. A few other teams can be judged too. The Panthers, Jaguars, and Browns are all clearly bad teams. The Titans are pretty close to that too.

Broncos 0 fumble recoveries. 10 fumbles. That's a potential 14 point swing in a matter of minutes.

Giants had more points at the end of the game. That's all I care about.

The Giants certainly don't suck. They just have a problem of not showing up all the time for "easy" games.

That Giants front four would be the end of the Bears if we meet up in the playoffs, assuming the Bears don't flame out. They would probably have 10 sacks in the first half and Cutler would probably be dead.

Brees needs to step it up or I'm screwed in fantasy.

Right now I got a 6 point lead, but Sproles is outscoring Drew Brees, and Patrick Willis is playing tomorrow night for him. He is pretty much a guarantee for those 6 points....

Of course. You've never seen a game where the "inconclusive evidence" rears its' head for the home team on a call that's somewhat borderline?

The Giants defense is not very good at all and has had its' water carried for it by the Giants offense through 8 games. It's a below average defense that isnt very good at run defense or at pass defense.

It's being masked as "passable" so far this season because the team has been winning, but opposing offenses are chewing up the field against the Giants, so people don't realize that they're giving up close to 400 yards per game, which is near the bottom of the NFL. Unless they make significant improvements on D, I don't see the possibility of the Giants going anywhere in the playoffs.

The above is an objective view, not an emotional Giants' fan view, and I think it's fair.

the running game is bad, but turner is still capable of going off every once in a while and rodgers can make plays when they let him. all it has to do anyway is keep the defense honest with the weapons ryan has to work with

the real problem is that the defense, while it has no real weaknesses, is very average. the secondary is average, the pass rush is average, the rush defense is average. it won't be the reason they lose games, but it won't win them many either. doesn't help that they lost their best corner for the season in week 1.

probably. they'll probably lose 1 to a divisional opponent even though they're all putrid and then they'll probably lose to the giants. anything less than 14-2 is a disappointment though. then they'll probably face the giants in the playoffs again, and once again fall flat on their face.

one stat that continues to amuse me is the fact that they have more wins than the rest of their division combined. they've only played one game against their division too, so theoretically that's 5 free wins left on the schedule. the only other games remaining are the cowboys, cardinals, giants, and lions, of those only the giants should be a challenge.

sounds like someone is bitter

maybe all the Jets average (and below average) players should have kept their fat mouths shut all week
