Good news for me atleast, all of my big RFAs and UFAs have been signed to good contracts. It helps if you offer them a little more than what they were asking.
Again, you have until tomorrow night at 8pm US Central time to sign all of your players before i advance again!
Yup, injuries are all gone for me. I figured they would probably get taken care of in the offseason, couldn't imagine them going all the way to the next season.
Happy with Eric Roy for my 1st rounder. Not happy with how Hamilton only progressed to a 69 though, BeAGM had him jumping to 76.

how do you know if they accepted? did you already advance once in the re-sign stage? I got on early this morning to sign my players.

Yes, I simmed up to June 26th last night. The 1st day to sign players. Half of the GMs were online so I had them all send offers to their players and then advanced. What was great is that it only advanced one real day until June 27th. So now GMs still have atheist one more advance to sign their players.
I was under the impression you could go over the cap in the offseason and then demote to the AHL or try to get some trades done prior to/once the regular season started, you know, like in the actual NHL. I'm stuck with Gomez on my team, would have plenty of cap space otherwise. Was more than ready to move Gomez/Kaberle/Brewer/Bourque.
I'm just about done with this completely broken mode.

I'm under the impression that the "Cap Space" listed on your contract screen covers EVERY player you have, not just NHLers. I know when we were in the offseason and all i could do was "Set Draft Priority" it said my Cap space was -$1.3 Million which made no sense because my NHL cap space was $8 million before the season ended. The extra $9 million in cap hits that EA generously gave to me was eaten up by the dozen or so "In the System" players that weren't counted against the NHL cap.
I think you'll be totally fine CHamps, especially since Gomez is off the books completely the season after this one.
On another note, parts of Long Island are expected to be without power for 7-10 days, hopefully I can avoid this. Just warning you if I go MIA for the next week or so it's because I've lost power.
