So after having hair halfway down to my waist for the last 20+ years, I decided to cut it off when coming out of the shower earlier. Cut the poinytail right off.. feels weird!

does that still qualifies as a pony tail? Maybe a horse tail cus you know, it's longer or bigger as a horse is to a pony. ehh? ehh?

My humor is bad at 4 am and I should feel bad

I actually thought about changing my hair style radically so if you don't mind my asking... what made you want to chop the hair? did you WANT to do it or was it out of necessity? Also, do you feel more or less confident?

Haha, ok i guess its more like a Clydesdale-tail. Or was

Ive been thinking about cutting it for a long time, but ive had mixed emotions about it since ive had long hair since i was 13-14, and i was scared of looking like an ass lol. Also, ive been playing music for many years, and the hair was sort of part of that whole deal too.
Reason i did it was simply that i was tired of it. Takes a long time to wash/dry... Sick of wet pillows at night and ice forming in it during winter etc. Dont have any hairstyle at all right now though, so i guess i need to come up with something and go see a professional hehe. Hopefully someone can make me atleast look slightly "rock n roll", even if its short

As for how i feel about it: weird! Head feels light and i keep running my hands through whats left and... there is nothing there! hehe

Do people add people on FB? I know there's some sort of a FB page that was dropped (and possibly failed horribly) but aside from that are any of you guys FB pals?
The Lounge has a Facebook group. Other than that, I don't think so

The lounge?

For the selected 5 or 6 kids on here, who wants to be friends? I'll throw in a free scarf as a limited time offer.

I am dying of laughter right now. I'm watching a show right now and a scene comes up where the protagonist who was trapped in frozen amber reunited with a fellow comrade whom she worked with some 30 years ago fighting the forces of evil and the slow and emotional music comes up so I reflexively start double tasking and opened up HF and scrolled down and read your message "I'll be your friend" as the music and hugging and tears are happening on the other half of my screen

Anyone else watches Fringe? It's gone to **** in the last 2 years but I decided to stick with it until the series of 5 season ends in 9 episodes.

A classic Bob situation where even the simplest questions are fraught with complexities. OR I'm just primed to thinking and interpreting everything you say with a twist of mystique.

I have a tight policy on who I have on FB because I'm fairly loaded in terms of how upfront and unrestrained I can be and more importantly, how I choose to not "act socially appropriate" on FB. It's for social connections and it defeats the purpose if I have to act socially normal and in a lot of ways, unlike myself in an effort to appease the easily offended. As a result, I've trimmed down FB to 50 friends. Obviously, I prefer it with a short list of friends but at the same time, it gets bland on some days and diversifying the friend list with people from other circles (e.g. you goons) is a refreshing touch.

I'm not currently. However based on interactions on this board (and considering age) I could see myself getting along quite well with Killam and ailurophile. You would make the cut though, I could see us bonding over all things culinary.

Ugh, the Lounge... It's so cliquey there. I only go there to lurk, rarely do I post.

The reason why I love our OT Thread is because of the people in it and I don't know anyone at "The Lounge" so it's somewhat pointless for me to post there too unless I want to get to know a bunch more strangers

I think I did that with you guys

speaking of FB again, Jamy, find me I couldn't find you. I tried James, Jamy and a few other names but all I got were a few chicks and a Mexican fellow. Whoever else wants to add, just find me under "Jason Crestno" If you type that into google, search at your own risk

What's you're name. I don't know anyone in the Facebook group... I mean, I know them, but I can't make connections to their username
