Seems a bit early for Stauffer to be talking about something like that. No one even knows if there is going to be a amnesty buyout period or not, do we? Let alone if Luongo would sign here.
Any player movement really. Unless it's a retirement out of left field, A.K.A Whitney
well a trade could be agreed to but can't be processed until the CBA is signed. It could be as good as a done deal.
The buyout/UFA signing would be a far cry from a sure thing.
I've heard that song and dance many times before, but what's from stopping the other GM from continuing to try get a better package? It's not like the CBA is going to be signed in a week or something.

Our GM not being willing to give more. A trade is still way more certain than a buyout that might not even be allowed/signing a UFA who wants to play in Florida.

Whitney retiring is my money. The guy complained about how a long layoff hurt him when he came back last year, not just because of his foot, but his conditioning as a whole. Seems strange that a guy who just recently experienced that wouldn't be playing hockey some where right now.
Believe if it you will. The team is pure speculation on MY part. However, the inevitable trade(just got compounded by Stauffer's tweet), is legitimate.
No, it is not legitimate at all. It is pure BS on your part.
And the poster with the record of most people blocking him is...
I said, tweet Stauffer. He won't deny this. Oil Country, don't believe it all you want, this is what's going down. Let's be real here, does any other speculation on this board really give you the "wow" factor? Come on people, let's act like grown adults.
If it's a player personnel move as in a trade, then I think it could be Luongo for Hemsky + pick or something along those lines. I can see the interest from Edmonton if Vancouver feels they've run into a brick wall trying to work something out with Toronto.
If it's a front office move, then perhaps it has something to do with Gretzky being brought back into the organization in some kind of official role.
Just as likely -- Bob's trying to pump up some ratings in a pretty bland media cycle.
