I was slightly on the owners side but Ferh is just a piece of crap. All he is doing is playing the players. He doesn't care crap anout the game and he isn't leading the players to a compromise. Players are at war, good for them, but that works on the ice. You need more then that in business.

Hopefully some players wake up.

Hire Don Fehr to run your union and this is what you'll get. Nobody should be surprised we're at this point.

It's at 75% fan support for the owners as we now stand.
Players are screwed deservedly so.

Asked this question once before:

Does it really serve the owners' purposes to participate in any way to make public opinion be against the players? The fans pay to see the players and the game. Fans turning against the players seems terribly counter-productive to the sport and to the owners.

Everyone loses if the lockout lasts a year especially the fans but the players stand to lose their livelihood.

The players' last major piece of leverage is the Winter Classic which will be cancelled as early as this Friday due to agreement with the UofM and the league's sponsors. After that, most of the players must have sub-100 IQs to keep holding out.

They dont.

Bettman is the only one who talks and he targets the union heads not the players. The players, who are free to talk, target the owners. Stupid move.

I guess you could say I'm pro player. Anything less than "**** and play, zomg, I'd play for 1/10th the price!" seems to pass for pro player on this site. This poll standing in confirmation of that point.
