He rejected initial offer. I didn't get a chance to give out a second offer to him I definitely need him. Hopefully your contract isn't ridiculous i'm running a tight ship in Minny haha.
I think I offered him $4.2mil for 4 years, so if you want to go top that, then you can just get him back again. Or you can wait it out, I might get him, then I'd trade him back to you.
It came to my attention around 10pm last night that EVERY team in this league had sent offers to all of their players. We havnt had regular season games in over 2 weeks and this offseason needs to get done as soon as possible. I purposefully made a list of UFAs who could not have offers sent to them and RFAs who could not be offersheeted due to GMs not sending out proper contracts or having Cap issues (see MTL and NYR).
I'm advancing the schedule again today at 4pm. Which should give most, if not all GMs ample time to send out contract offers to Available Free Agents, as well as players on their own team who still need contracts. When i get home from work tonight at around 9:30pm i'll be advancing all the way up to the regularl season and we will be starting the 2013-14 season tonight. It will be a "3 Day Sim Period" to allow the Bruins and Habs GMs to have the proper availability to sign their players.
Don't wait till the deadline to lock up your goaltending position boys, if last season showed anything it's that playoff seed battles are rough and it's really hard to catch up if your behind. And you just can't bank on an ok goalie "getting by", that just won't cut it when we sim games during the double advances, that's a recipe for racking up the losses. Look at last year's goalie stats, all the teams with goalies in the top end finished extremely high. We've trimmed a lot of the fat from this league, and we're left with a lot of good teams and only half as many playoff spots.
Neuvirth is still on the the block, as well I would not be opposed to dealing Luongo either if a proper deal presented itself. I'd prefer to keep Lui as my team is built to win now and he has a higher ranking for this season, but after seeing Neuvirth level up I'd be confident keeping him as my starter instead. I've got two guys who are gonna be able to carry the load big time in goal, in return I'm looking for a similar level player at a different position, whether it be in their prime or a young guy with great potential.
We're not going to talk about how Joensu went up 14 points right after he was a toss-in on a deal that included Bobby Ryan.
Yeah too bad for you we couldn't do it with Zherdev. I did a few sims and Joensuu usually gets good after a few years, but never this good and definitely not this fast.

As an Isles fan I hate Joensuu, Zherdev I could care less about as well. The fact that Joensuu went from a 70 to 84 is ridiculous.
Believe it or not the Kaberle sweepstakes is heating up, get your offers in! This is a cap dump move for me so I'm not looking for too much in return...

Thank you to everyone who did update their trade block. And in the future, when your trade block/lineup is updated again, you only need to update your OP, not create a new post.

Hey Fuss, I submitted the Eberle trade to Phoenix... Do you mind putting that deal on the list of trades saying its our regular season deal? I'm already getting spammed with Yakupov proposals haha.
The deal was...
To Phoenix: Eberle + Hecht
To Edmonton: Vermette + Korpikoski
Ill edit my trade block saying I can't trade right now as well.

GMs have 2.5 more hours to submit any/all free agent offers. Then i advance the schedule. Allow 5 more hours of free agency while i'm at work, then advance again when i get home 9:30pm Central Time and the regular season will start!
Martin St. Louis is available for trade. The Lightning are trying to get younger, and given an extreme lack of high-end talent on the free agent market, this is the chance for contenders to add an elite playmaker to their lineup. Offers have already come in, so make your proposals.
If your looking for a 3rd line center, Zach Smith is available (82ovr). If your looking for a below-average starting goalie, Anderson is available (82ovr).
