I think he'll be second line and left wing. Should be more offensive role for him than in the Canadiens.
I like the idea of him playing the wing. Sooner or later one of our centers will have to get switched there. I think if he gets enough ice-time at that position he can grow accustomed enough to switch there and be effective.

It's just speculation that he will be right wing. His first game is 16th November, so after that we'll know for sure.

Here you can see how small the JYP's arena is. Hometeam is wearing black

Wow so many colorfoul ads on the ice! Makes NHL ice look very bland.

Also makes the NHL ice like a hockey rink instead of that travesty full of ads..

He probably doesn't give a ****.

If the player's get all the money you'll see the ice in NA covered in ads. Same with the jersey to pay them.

So Ramzi Abid and Eric Perrin are ahead of him?

And you can see the NHL is even better when there is no hockey being played on it With the current condition that the NHL is in, the time is not for pointing fingers at leagues that get's the numbers to fit with 1% of NHL's budget. They have the ugly adds because they are necessary. Without them there wouldn't be hockey. Just like the NHL. The NHL is a joke right now and should be the laughing-stock.

They are.. but fact remain that the ice in the European leagues remains a joke, no matter why they do it. Hockey rink is white, should stay that way. Especially with the faceoff circles in different colours.. I mean.. common..

While I agree that it is very tacky, I wouldn't be so fast to jump on the Euro leagues as I believe that we may eventually see this in the NHL. With both the NHL and NHLPA having an agreement to share hockey related revenues it just makes too much sense to explore significant revenue streams such as this one.

The NHL has too many teams trying to keep their heads above water while employing hundreds of NHLPA salaries.

I think Eller will see about the same amount of ice time as Perrin (team captain), Abid and Peverley. 1st and 2nd line play roughly the same minutes. Peverley is excellent in faceoffs and while playing a couple of games with Perrin and Abid as a winger he took most of the faceoffs. Peverley might also move to the wing with Eller playing center, I really don't know who's the better winger of the two.

Eller will most probably play in the second PP unit unless JYP decides to put all eggs in the same basket with

Eller-Perrin-Abid
Peverley-Näkyvä

Rooting for JYP, I have high hopes for this Dane! Maybe he'll be able to boost Peverley as well since he has struggled somewhat lately (as the rest of the team). I hope Lars show's his 4+1+360 capabilities right from the get-go...

Anyway, it's interesting to see how a Canadien and a Bruin get along in the cold and dark north I can give you guys updates on how Lars is doing (with fellow JYP fan JYP88). Peace and out.

Just came from the arena. Eller 2+0 and made goal in the shootout...... Eller's secound goal was highstick but referees didnt see that so...

He's better than Rich Peverly.

Everyone likes to point to "wildcards" in the habs for the upcoming season (whenever it will be), but I really think Eller is the team's real wild card. If his offensive game develops, it will make things really really interesting and change the dynamics of the team.

He did well. Nothing magical but solid performance and two goals. Can we keep him until the end of the season?

You might not have to worry about having to give him back any time soon
