I have never been able to get a game going with SJ. We are in the same division fighting for first and he never plays.
I heard good things about him early on, so I gave him the courtesy of a PM noting that he missed an activity check and would be kicked if he didn't answer to the next. Regardless, this is why we have these.

great season so far my injuries and lack of scorring killed me this season but tis the name of the game. How are the play offs going to work, are you posting a schedule before hand and people are adhering to it?? im in one league where the offseason was a month longer than the actual season and playoffs, not a lot of fun waiting for the games to start... just curious, as the play offs start pretty soon here

There will continue to be strict sim dates. I won't have the whole league sit waiting because two guys can't find each other. Having said that, playoff series are best of 5 because of the strict schedule of this league. Not everyone has the time to sit down and play out a full series.
If people want, I can extend playoff rounds to 3 days each, but if you send a PM or XBL message to whoever you're matched up with, you should be able to find a time that you're both around and available to play.

I'm not even in the playoffs but in my opinion playoff series should be out of 7 not 5... It just doesn't seem right otherwise, it takes more skill to win 4 games out of 7 then 3 out of 5 plus it makes the series that much more intense

Could be worse. I'm in the HFOilers board league and the commish set the playoffs to NO OT/SO only!! I was pissed. I was the 2nd last guy to join the league, got PHX, turned them into a contender and got home ice advantage, ended up losing in RD 1 game 7 in a ****ing shoot-out. Not cool.

Hah I'm in the same league I went to 3 overtimes in the second round of the playoffs and lost to a shootout in game 7 also. Gayest way to lose a hockey game

New rule on waivers and roster management to be edited into the OP:
From now on, at the conclusion of each sim, I'll be posting a list of players who are on waivers. These are the players that were automatically placed on waivers by the game, that the owner had no intent of waiving. The players that I list are OFF LIMITS to waiver claims. If claimed, you have to send the player with a 7th round pick to the other owner for a 7th round pick. Fair value. In the case of this happening after the trade deadline, I'll edit into the OP the players that are owed to their original owners, in deals that must be completed after the finals, when trades are open again.
Having said that, there's an easy way to solve this problem. This only happens when injured players come back and put you over the roster limit. Don't keep 3 healthy scratches on your roster when 2 players are coming back from injury. I try to keep my roster at 18 skaters, and people automatically get called up when it sims CPU games if someone is injured. This way you won't have this issue, unless somehow you have 4+ skaters all coming back simultaneously.
