I live in Binghamton and it looks like a normal Binghamton day outside... There's a hurricane?

Seriously tho, It is kind of crazy how unscathed we have been considering almost everyone around us...

I've been ordered to return to work tomorrow since the hurricane has died down. I'm disappointed.

was weird in montreal, yesterday was windy as ****, then it rained last night, and today... nothing. Warm, sunny, perfect weather. So strange experiencing that and then seeing what had happened due south.

Really? You'd rather stay home from work and have your home decimated by wind/rain/floods?

Perspective, people.

Sounds like Ottawa yesterday, and now it's just dreary

we're a mess here in NYC, no power, heat or hot water for days and they said it might be another 7-10 days. I am lucky I still have a home, unlike other people.

Well that thought did cross my mind...Morrisville is in a valley and I do have a creek in my back yard but I was hoping it would be just enough to cut power yet without mass destruction. I figured I'm not on the coast like in NYC so it would have been reasonable. But it doesn't really matter...I got a lot of work done and felt a little more self-satisfaction anyway.
