Team with the best goaltending in the future.

3-5 years from now.

Couldn't let the Oilers have all the fun.

I'm going Boston. Tuukka Rask is a very good goalie and Malcolm Subban is going to be a very good goalie.

I like Anaheims goalies

Boston isn't too bad either. Rask is a young potentially a franchise goaltender, not to mention Khudobin who has looked sharp in every one of his NHL starts, and to top it off Subban is looking like a great prospect

Zane Gothberg is pretty underrated too, and Svedberg looks to be somewhat promising, as is Hutchinson

Avs legit got a shot in this one. Varly's already awesomeness and any of Aittokallio, Patterson or Pickard, can become good NHL starters in the next 3-5 years.

I can't name a single team with the best goaltending today, let alone in 5 years...

I love when people make a thread thinking their team is the best at it, and no one agrees..

It was more for fun than anything else. I'm not taking the results too seriously.

Goaltending is impossible to tell because one guy dictates so much. We're talking about 5 years, who knows who will pop up in that time.

In 2004 nobody knew who Henrik Lundqvist was. 5 years later was 2009, he was already top 3 in the world at that point.

I respectfully disagree. He should be in the ECHL. I'd rather see Morrison backup Svedberg.

Montreal of LA. I believe in 3-5 years time Price and Quick will be the top goalies in the league, and I don't see them leaving their respective teams anytime soon, edge to LA if Bernier is still with them.

In 3 years the Canucks will likely be using a Schneider and Lack duo, which could prove to be very good.

Florida. Markstrom will be the best tender in the world rather sooner than later.

Since there is no way to predict, going to homer vote for Lindback, Tokarski, and Vasilevski.

Habs /LA. Price and Quick will battle it out for the #1 spot for yrs to come.
Bruins come in next with Rask. No one else really close to these three.

So hard to say when you're basically just looking at one guy. Obviously Quick and Price look like good bets, as do Schneider and Rask. Surprised at no NYR votes. Lundqvist is only 30 and just had his best season. He won't necessarily decline in the next 3-5 years.

Lundqvist isn't going to retire in 3 years.

Schnieder is also going to be coming up strong by then.

I think Price and Quick are the two best young(ish) goalies in the league. LA has better depth with Bernier (though I bet he gets traded within 1-2 years).

Rask/Subban could be great down the line, I really like how Subbans looking, I REALLY wanted him for the Leafs.

Gotta go LA though. Quick is the most proven out of all the top young goalies (Price, Rask, Schneider, etc) and Bernier just adds another high end piece (for now).
